Summary: Thank God for Orson Scott Card
Review: This is the book by which all SF novels are measured--none of which deserve to sit in its throne room. I met Card in 1988 at Appalachian State University. I took a writing workshop with him in D.C. that same year. The man is a brain. The novel concept of the training should impress. I will admit I do not care much for the sequels, but Ender's Game literally changed my outlook on SF. Some one replied "it all depends on how you look at it." I disagree. This novel cannot be read and disliked by the normal human being. I've loaned it (and thus lost my autographed copy) to people who hated SF, and though it didn't convert them, they admitted it was one of the coolest things they had ever read. I disagree again. It is the coolest.

Summary: Excellent Novel, Excellent Author
Review: This was an excellent book, probably the only one that I've read by him so far that rates five stars but I still have about 6 more to go. It's very difficult to find any copies of this anymore that cost lest than 6.00 and it's almost impossible to find the other books in the series. I'm trying to figure out why I didn't try Amazon before. BTW, for those of you looking for some obscure work of his, check out The Secret of Monkey Island (an old video game created by Lucasarts Entertainment). He wrote all the insults for the swordfights, and some of them were funny as hell.

Summary: The second best book I've ever read
Review: I read this book for a class. When I started reading it, I was dubious about Science Fiction written by a Mormon. Four years and all his books I could get my hands on later, I'm convinced. Some of his moral judgements are foreign to me, but no more so than Robert Heinlein's, and they don't distract from Ender's Game.

Summary: Ender's Game Is A True Winner
Review: I was first given this book when a friend caught me reading a science fiction novel and said to me "ya know, I have the perfect book for you". Not being a very big reader and having only finished two books in my lifetime I consider myself an amateur. If a book does not capture my interest by the second chapter it's dead on the shelf. Enders Game, opened my mind, captured my imagination and became the first book I was to ever read from beginning to end and all in less than three weeks. I found myself opening up my copy at my every opportunity. I even took the bus to work to get in extra reading time. Every page made me want more. Strangely enough, I could not wait to reach the end however, when I did I was sad that it could not continue. I truly cannot explain how this book has affected me. However, my best shot is to say that if a movie were ever to be made, it would undoubtedly fail to capture what Mr. Card has written. Fortunately for me, Enders Game is the first of a trilogy and I'm just finishing the second book "Speaker for the Dead".

Summary: It was a great sci-fi thriller and drama wrapped up into one
Review: Ender's Game was a fabulous book about a boy who was lost in a world that can be compared to our own. He was the third which was something really bad, but he was also very special. He was the genius of all geniuses and in the end he saves the Earth that shunned him. This book accurately depicts the horrors of human tendacies

Summary: Simply the best book ever written.
Review: Enders Game is the best book ever written. The plot was incredible. After the first few pages I couldn't put the book down.

Summary: It all depends on how you look at it
Review: This review is devoted to the people who are sitting in front of their computer screens right now thinking, "What the heck?" It really all dpends on how you look at the book. Some opinionated readers will give it one or two stars, either because they didn't understand it, were offended by it for some reason (there are reasons)or they just wanted to write a really bad review and see what stirs up (I admit I did that once). Personally, I think that there are many parts of the book that people can find offensive, and therefore write flaming reviews. This book is not for everyone. I'm not saying only sci fi readers would like it. Just be careful. It's not that the people who gave this book one star are wrong, it's just that they are opinionated. Anyway, I think it's worth a try. You've already read a million reviews on the plot, so maybe this review will help you decide. Even if you hate it, though, you can't like every book you read. I recommend full steam ahead. Give Ender's Game a try.

Summary: The Greatest book on the face of the Earth!!!
Review: I first read this book when i was 11, and have read it 7 more times since. Ender's Game is so much more than all those other 'sci-fi's it captures the true emotion and atmosphere of a prodigy with prosigious responsibility. Its more than just flying around in spaceships shooting aliens. Anyone can read it, anyone will love it.Orson Scott Card is a genius! Ender Wiggin is the hero for a new millenium. You will cherish this amazing novel.
