Summary: An Extremely Pleased Reader From California!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I know that all of the reviews for this book praise it, so I will tell you an unbiased review..... IT WAS GREAT!!!!! The entire book was like a great movie because I could picture it all in my head! I was 12 when I read it and I couldn't put it down! I read it in only a week! The entire book was a trie masterpiece but since I said that I would give you an unbiased review, I'll nitpick. The only bad part (which is not very bad at all) are three short, but sort-of gruesome parts where there are physical confrontations between two boys. But other than that it is the only book that I would actually read twice! (something that I thought would never happen) If you're trying to decide whether or not to buy this book, it's WELL worth the price!

Summary: DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS ONE!!!
Review: Card has really out-done himself this time. Ender's Game is without a doubt one of the best books of all time, along with its sequel, Speaker For The Dead. On the surface this appears to be a novel about war, but if you look deeper you find it is a commentary on the human soul when faced with a challenge. Ender, a six-year-old boy, is an example of an innocent caught in the crossfire of a terrible war and forced to participate, forced to join one side or the other, and, as you will see, he finds a way to be on both sides in the end. It also shows the bond of friendship, and how it can hold up under the toughest of enviornments. If you haven't read this book you--- well, you deserve a straitjacket! Card is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, writer of all time. But definantly read this before the rest of the Quartet, otherwise you won't know what is going on. I wanted to give this twenty stars, but that wasn't an option.

Summary: Ender's Game is a classic.
Review: Ender's Game is a classic. The brilliancy with which this book was written continues to impress me time and time again. After the first couple pages, you fall in love with little Ender and are completely entangled in his life, his love, his committment, he genious. This book combines the hatred of war with perfect understanding and compassion, the struggle for acceptance with the limitations of leadership, the fear of discovering yourself with the knowledge of who you really are. I would highly recommend this book.

Summary: Most excellent! Not hardcore Science Fiction though.
Review: If you're looking for a very complex novel about future technologies and outer worlds, this is not it. If you're looking for a beautiful story about humanity with an interesting, futuristic setting, then buy this book immediately. I've read hundreds of fantasy and SciFi books, and Ender's Game is among the top five, even though I would catagorize it more as general fiction than science fiction.

Review: Orson Scott Card has really outdone himself this time, he created the most sensible child Ender and pushed him to the limits. The best way to describe this book is simply WOW!
