Summary: Bar none, one of the best.
Review: If you have not read "Ender's Game," then you have not read decent fiction. Card did a wonderful job with this book. Every time I read it, I discover something else I did not notice. The characters are well-developed, and you actually grow to share the feelings Ender has for his fellow students, for his sister Valentine, for his brother Peter. You must read this book.

Summary: You become part of this book and it becomes part of you.
Review: Ender's Game is about all of us. The story is terrific, easy to read and you will be thinking about this story for years to come. A perfect science fiction story that is completely plausible and a view into the characters that will make them your friends, family and rivals pulls this book together in eloquant harmony.

Summary: The Best Book in the World
Review: This is it, right here. "Ender's Game" is without a doubt, THE best book in the world EVER. It was read to me during my 6th grade year...I believe I have read it at least 20 times since then.

The government of the world has put the future of Earth in the hands of a seven year old boy...the threat of a "bugger" invasion looms overhead, and humanity fears for it's very existence.

Enter the hero. Ender is amazing, he overcomes the odds by using his brain and wit, and learns to use what strength he has to his advantage. Battle School seems bent on trying to make him fail, and your heart unwittingly goes out to this boy while he struggles to succeed.

This is not a story you can put down, and come back to.

This is a story that grabs you by the collar, shakes you, and demands that you read it...I suggest you listen.

Summary: Hmmm... a pretty good book
Review: The first two thirds of this book were great. I enjoyed the way that Ender would show his emotions and everything that he was feeling. Unfortunately, the ending was a little weak. One minute, they are just students training, and then all of a sudden, they save the world. It is almost as if the book needed to be longer to tell the story more completely. Oh well.

Summary: Best SF novel in 20 years
Review: "Ender's Game" is a masterpiece of SF, one of those definitive novels of a genre, so powerful that everything that comes after it is measured by it's greatness. Of all of the novels I've read in the last year or so, only "The Triumph and the Glory" and perhaps "Cold Mountain" come close to providing such a powerful emotional reaction in me.

Summary: This is the best sci-fi book I've ever read.
Review: This book is one of my all-time favorites. I first read it in eighth grade on a recommendation by my english teacher. I figured, "Oh yeah, this will be good." I was wrong. "Ender's Game" grabbed my attention from the beginning and hurdled me through to the very end. I loved it. Orson Scott Card's description and detail of his world of the future was always riveting and left me spellbound when I finally finished the book. Andrew "Ender" Wiggin is a very likable character that keeps the story flowing. And he is one tough kid. This book has a great fight sequence that puts Alfred Hitchcock's shower scene to shame. Zero gravity battles in an enclosed dome, space rides at close to light speed, and instant message transmission across the galaxy are just some of the things we experience while we're reading this masterpiece of science fiction literature. The screenplay and film are under negotiation to be made now. I, for one, can't wait.

Summary: Both compelling & repelling
Review: This story pushed me a little too far. The main character's life was so harsh that it was difficult to read about. Val was a good likeable character though. If you get your kicks from reading about children being tortured than enjoy. BTW I searched & didn't find a review saying "I hate this book cause it is written by a Mormon". So I don't know what that one guy was talking about.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must read for all Sci-Fi fans.
Review: This book is excellent. It is a very well written book that has deserved every little drop of praise it has recieved. Even if you do not like Sci-Fi books you will more than likely love this one, because it is more of a mind twister than a sci-fi book. But the way it is written will satisfy both sci0fi fan and non-sci-fi fan. I highly recomend it.

PS - You can disregard anyone who says there are relegious subtext to it. I am Mormon and this has to be one of the few books that Card has written that has no relegious subtext.

Summary: Excellent Book
Review: There's not much to say about Ender's Game. I can sum it all up in one sentence. It is the greatest book ever written.

Summary: THE science fiction book of the century!
Review: This is possibly the most wonderful book in the world of science fiction today. I really don't have much to add to the other reviews, other than to say that I thought the sequels were at least as good as the original. The entire series is worthy of being read and reread, but even if you don't want to read them all, Ender's Game is one you don't want to miss.
