Summary: What's not to love?
Review: I'll tell you the truth: this is probably the best book I have ever read. If you buy this book and don't enjoy it, you've probably been looking under the wrong book genre. Really, the only way to hate this book is to want to hate it.

The thing about this book that makes it so appealing is that all the world's events tie together with one family's kids. You might find it a little odd, at first, for the world to revolve around three kids from the same family, but Card does a skillful job at make it all believable (at least to an extent, but, heck, it's sci-fi, right?). Really, I'd recommend it to all readers, SF lovers and non SF readers alike. If you like a good plot with a lot of action and tension, BUY THIS BOOK!

Summary: This is the greatest book ever written!
Review: This is my alltime favorite, and I've read a lot of books. I didnt' even know about this book untill this one day when there was snow on the ground and I was really bored. Then my sister told me she had to read this book for her eleventh grade english class and told me I'd would really like it (I was in the sixth grade at the time, I'm in the eighth now)and I did. It was wonderful, and it was written so well. For all you people who gave it one star, You are morons. This book is great!

Summary: Simply amazing
Review: This book is simply amazing. Not only does it have an original, exciting plot, but it is very thoughtful and really thought-provoking, like any great book. It's--indescribable. I can't describe the feelings you get when you read this book. It's simply amazing. Ender's Game is probably the best sci-fi book I have ever read. (After you read this book, read Ender's Shadow, plus the rest of the Ender books.) Anybody looking for an excellent, thought-provoking, superb piece of literature should, without a doubt, read Ender's Game.

Summary: An inspiring and disillusioning book about humanity.
Review: Ender's Game is one of those books that, once started, can not be put down until finished. Card's artful yet objective writing allows the reader to easily emote for the charectars, and become more involved in the storyline than even the charectars themselves.

Summary: Best book I've ever read!
Review: I could not put the book down. It is a real page-turner. I've never read a book with so much intensity. This is the first science fiction book that I have enjoyed, and it will not be the last. I am looking forward to reading other Orson Scott Card books.

Summary: Amazing to the last
Review: This is, by far, the best book I have ever read (this is written after my fortieth reading of it). It deserves no criticism in my mind.

Summary: Enjoyable and Ingenious
Review: Whenever I talk about this book, it's hard not to make it sound like I am a science fiction junkie. I love and defend sci-fi, but I am not limited to the genre. Neither, I think, is this magnificent book. To label it simply a sci-fi classic would be like labeling "Moby Dick" a great book about boats. All great books, regardless of the genre, say something truly profound about the human condition.

"Ender's Game" not only manages to have a strong message, but it is also a joy to read. The plot is enthralling, the characters are complex and realistic, and the descriptions of the battleroom fill your head with fantastic images that make you wish your school had been like this, without the burden of saving humanity. The subplot involving Valentine and Peter is superb and cannot fail to inflame every reader's megalomaniacal side. Though the book is about children, it never condescends and gives kids the credit for the intelligent creatures they are (a big plus for teenage readers). The characters are exceptionally bright, but they are still identified as five- to twelve-year olds, not as mini-adults. It's no wonder that so many gifted young readers have made the statement, "I am Ender." I hope "Ender's Game" is able to make the rare crossover from lowly sci-fi to recognized, so-called "legitimate" literature.

Not only will you not be able to put the book down, you won't be able to read this book just once.

Summary: Well thought out storyline, entertaining to the end .
Review: This is the first Orson Scott Card book I've read, and I'm pleased to say it won't be the last. The story seemed fairly fast paced to me, with a bunch of great characters, I frequently forgot that most of them were children and had to keep reminding myself this must be what it's like to be pushed so far when you're so young. The book wasn't as detailed as I'm used to(being a primary Stephen King reader), my only complaint is I had a little trouble "watching" some of the battle scenes in my head. Still, a great book.

Review: This was one of my favorite books ever. I could not but it down once I started! Some stuff was a stretch (e.g. the charecters are only 6 years old) but over all it was a ! GREAT BOOK!
