Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very Sweet
Review: I enjoyed "Mixed Signals" a great deal. It was sweet and romantic, just what I love. But then, I may be a little bias. Oh, well. Keep it up, Aunt Ruthie!

Summary: Another Maryland reader
Review: I found MIXED SIGNALS very entertaining. I didn't know what to think at the beginning. Alittle too funning perhaps, but I soon saw the skill of a gifted writer come though. David and Norah were my favorite characters. The overall theme, for me was how easy we assume, or misread other's thoughts and actions. I look forwarded to reading more from Mrs. Higgs.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Filled with grace
Review: I love romances that make you cry and laugh and sigh right along with the characters. Mixed Signals did all that and more. God's grace shines through this story and its characters from the first page to the last. I have enjoyed Liz Curtis Higgs' nonfiction books (and have read them all!), and now she's shown herself to be a master of fiction as well.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An irresistible story !
Review: I utterly lost myself in this lively story. It's a page-turner from page one to the end. I loved the characters, laughed with them, cried with them. I can't wait for more of the same from Liz Higgs, one of my favorite authors! I highly recommend this book to romantics of all ages.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Makes-Me-Want-to-Keep-Reading Story
Review: I'm not a usual reader of fiction, but this story interested me. Once I started reading, I couldn't quit. It is a delightful story, and the characters are people who stay with you as you do your regular work. They are always haunting you, pulling you back to read more. I hope Liz Curtis Higgs writes more fiction books for adults!

Summary: Heartfelt, funny, warm and memorable
Review: I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my cheeks and an irrepressible urge to jump to my feet and yell, "Bravo! Bravo!" I just finished MIXED SIGNALS and it absolutely blew me away. I can't believe it was a first novel because it read like it was the author's thirty-fifth book. The prose was incandescent, each character fully realized and unforgettable, and it fully captured the magic of falling in love. And the author hit the inspirational notes with such a light and deft hand that I can feel comfortable giving this book to my non-Christian friends in the hopes that some subtle seeds will be sown. MIXED SIGNALS could hold its own against any secular contemporary on the market today-even those by the romance genre's top authors. I have to admit that I'm a pretty jaded reader, which is why it's even more rare for a book to strike this chord in me, especially a first novel. If it wouldn't be a sin, I'd be bowing at Ms. Higg's feet <g>, but as it is, I'm thanking the Lord for bringing such a special read into my life and hoping the rest of the world is ready to welcome a writer with such an amazing and divine gift to touch both the mind and the heart.

Summary: A page-turner filled with charm and grace. Solid gold!
Review: In MIXED SIGNALS Liz Curtis Higgs has created a world as delightful as Jan Karon's Mitford, populated with characters so real I could almost feel their heartbeats. This book is filled with humor, joy, and grace abundant, the kind of story you want to curl up with and have last forever. If I could, I would give this fast-paced, warm and wonderful story six stars! I loved this book by one of my favorite authors!

Summary: A delightful novel!
Review: Liz Curtis Higgs has written a number of wonderful non-fiction books, in addition to being a popular, fall-down-funny public speaker. Now she has proven herself a natural storyteller as well. You will read this novel with a smile on your face and a warm place in your heart for the engaging characters who people MIXED SIGNALS. Sit back and enjoy; you're in for a treat!

Summary: Love, laughter and Liz...what more can you ask?
Review: Liz Curtis Higgs keeps having fun writing books for all ages! This last effort, a Christian romance of all things, gives you a sense of silliness and sentiment when the main characters keep making the wrong romantic connections. A funny read, too. Keep it up, Liz! We want more!
