Review: I really enjoyed reading this book because it has a great depth to love and life in this story. This romance vents how wonderful love can be, yet at the same time it expresses the toughness of living.

Summary: Not her best!
Review: I was not impressed with this story. It was really hard for me to identify with and like Miranda. She was such a wimp and cried all the time.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Never a dull moment
Review: Ms Joyce certainly knows how to keep a reader enthralled from start to finish. Neither the story or the characters were predictable, which is as it should be with any good novel, romance or otherwise. I look forward to the other books in the series. Brenda, you have a new fan!

Summary: A THOUGHT PROVOKING BOOK. . INTERESTING
Review: This was a very good book to read, kept interest all the way through, and made you feel as if you were one of the charavters. ..GREAT!

If you are looking for other romance novels that truly touch your heart, you might try, Stolen Moments by Barbara Jeanne Fisher.I intended to give this book a quick read, but I got so caught up in the story that I couldn't put the book down. From the very beginning, I was fully caught up in the heart-wrenching account of Julie Hunter's battle with lupus and her growing love for Don Lipton. This love, in the face of Julie's impending death, makes for a story that covers the range of human emotions. The touches of humor are great, too, they add some nice contrast and lighten things a bit when emotions are running high. I've never read a book more deserving of being published. It has rare depth. Julie's story will remind your readers that life and love are precious and not to be taken for granted. It has had an impact on me, and for that I'm grateful.

"Stolen Moments " which is reminiscent of "Love Story" is written with so much sensitivity that it made me want to cry. Like"Love Story" it is about a dying woman who has found true love. It is the love story of the nineties." It is a spellbinder. One I got reading I could hardly put it down. what terrific writing, Barbara has an exceptional gift!

Summary: Monotonous
Review: This was one of the worst romance novels I've ever read, which says a lot since I read many of them and Brenda Joyce is a favorite author of mine. The continual Indian attacks and abductions got really tiring after a while. Also, it's a little hard to buy that an annoying weakling like Miranda could have survived the rapes, abductions, etc. that she went through. Good grief, she couldn't handle someone holding her hand, so she wouldn't have been able to handle some of the situations that Joyce puts her in. We are introduced to a convent-raised girl who blushes when someone looks her in the eye, and we're supposed to believe that she can bounce right back from rapes, kidnapping, etc.??? That's stretching it. I found myself wanting the hero to dump her and find someone more worthwhile.
