Summary: ONE GREAT SCIENCE/FANTASY/ROMANCE!!!!!!!
Review: Megen Sybil Baker aka Linnea Sinclair is one heck of a writer. I loved this book.
Chasidah Bergren is a captain in the Imperial Fleet. She is stripped of command in a sham court-martial and sent to the planet Moabar. Moabar is a penal colony, one where nobody lives long. She is a pawn in a power play that includes her family.
Gabrial Sullivan is supposed to be a dead man. But he turns up very much alive to save Chas and get her to help him put a stop to a terrible genetics experiment. They have been on opposite sides for a long time and he now must convince her of his true purpose and gain her trust.
Someone is raising jukors, metal monsters who only know how to kill. For every one born, a Tava dies. The females are forced to carry the implanted jukor and when it is born it virtually rips its way out of the mother. Jukors have been outlawed by the Imperium for years, yet she and Sully must fight one to escape Moabar.
Not only are the jukors a threat, but Sully has his own secrets. Secrets that practically everyone in the universe would kill him for. This is a very exciting book and I hope she will write more in this universe.

Summary: Gabriel's Ghost
Review: One of the best Science Fiction-Romance novels I've ever read. Vary good general story telling. Good character identification. The detail and dicription of how the government and church works and functions is ok, it could have been a little better but it was understandable enough. While the character identification was very well done for Chaz and Ren, the author left a lot to be desired in understanding Sully. It was as if the author couldn't decide who or what Sully was. The Plot was understandable enough but the author could have..."embellished", maybe the word I'm looking for, more on the "Villan's" part in the plot of the story. The Action, Suspense and Mistery in the story was exellent. The romantic deveopment between Chaz and Sully was the most detailed, understandable and interesting part of the whole story. There are many story out and all of them need not only a little more detail but aslo a sequal. I recamend reading "Gabriel's Ghost" by Megan Sybil Baker a.k.a. Linnea Sinclair if you like Science Fiction-Romance. A great book authored by Linnea Sinclair is "Command Preformanc". Also try "Switched" by Diane Burton, "The Wizard of Seattle" by Kay Hooper and "Companions" (Laws of the Blood 3) by Susan Sizemore.

Summary: Loved it!
Review: The perfect mix of sci fi, fantasy and romance! Baker's writing is fast-paced and polished, suspenseful without overdoing the drama. Throw in a smart, capable female lead that can kick serious butt, a smart, sexy male lead with lots of depth and a convoluted past, and you've got a winner.

Chaz is only allowed to see the playful, teasing Sully, not the deep, dark Gabriel, until it's too late to turn back. Ren is an aquatic creature, an intriguing gentle giant of a humanoid, soft-spoken and intense in his loyalties and friendships. As the three travel together over a long period of time, they form a tentative allegiance and friendship, counting on each other for their survival. The sexual tension and growing love between Chaz and Sully is both heartwarming and, at times, heartbreaking. Megan Sybil Baker hooks readers from the first page, then teases at the end of each chapter with a surprise, a twist, or a turn. Fast-paced, suspenseful, tension-filled and highly emotional, GABRIEL'S GHOST is an addictive tale of adventure and romance that readers will be hard pressed to put down. The breathtaking, exciting climax left this reviewer eager for Ms. Baker's next release. Buckle up, hold on tight, and prepare for a wild ride you won't soon forget!

Review: This is a fantastic SciFi Romance. The characters are very well developed and the plot is even better developed. The previous reviews go into detail but I loved this book. I've read it three times since I bought it in the electronic version.

Review: This is one of my favorite books! Megan Sybil Baker writes exciting Science Fiction with just the right touch of romance. Gabriel's Ghost is a fast read because it's just so good. I hope to read more from this great Fantasy/Sci Fi author. What could be better than magic and romance in space?!

Review: Typically, I do not care for science fiction, fantasy, or even predictable romance ... but this book is incredible. Well developed, exciting, emotional and by the third chapter you realize that Megan Sybil Baker has a very special talent that should not be limited to only 313 pages.
