Summary: An excellent addition to the Forgotten Realms saga
Review: Mark Anthony has written an exciting chapter in the Forgotten Realms saga. The story of a thief who agrees to find a lost noble in the multi-level dungeon/labyrinth is one full of magic, monsters and mayhem. Once the character thinks he's found a way out of Undermountain, he's faced with a new set of obstacles.

This one will keep diehard readers of fantasy novels and new readers of fantasy novels entertained for hours. Of all the novels in the The Nobels series, this one is the best.

Also recommended is "Crypt of the Shadowking", a novel in The Harpers series, by the same author.

Summary: Review From Mr. Ronto's CCG and RPG Page
Review: The Nobles Series just keeps getting better with this awesome novel. Basically, this is a FR version of "John Carpenter's Escape from New York", Artek's got to go in, rescue the noble in a certain time period, or he's dead. It's just that simple. This novel just about visits every inch of Undermountain, from Halaster's apprentices to Wyllowwood. This novel is more comical than serious, but does have its emotional moments. Action and excitement around every corner, this book is hard to put down. On thing leads to another, and you just want to continue, to see what the characters get into next. The characters go from simple to just plan weird, but they're all great and needed. The story is not too serious, but definitely well written, it does have its points and lessons learned. Basically this is the most hectic and dangerous two days Artek has ever had, and by the end of the book, your just as relieved as the characters that the whole ordeal is over. But yet, you're sad to see it end too, because you get so attached to the characters, as it is with most novels. This novels has so much adventure, it practically falls off the pages as you read. This one is a must read if you like action, adventure, or just plain fun, so go get this one, because you just have to read it to believe it.

Summary: Engaging story and good resource.
Review: The storyline of this novel is a typical dungeoncrawl though engagingly written and well executed. The characters are given an unusual depth, especially Artek. Mr. Anthony has done a good job in portraying the wonder and horror of Undermountain. I consider this novel an excellent source for ideas and inspiration in my own campaign construction.

Summary: Awesome Action-Packed Adventure!!!!
Review: This was one of the best Forgotten Realm books out there! A must-read for anyone interested in monsters, wizards, and heroes. It gives great detail on every character. I suggest every reader out there to pick this one up.
