Summary: One of Peter David best books,
Review: Chapter 20 is maybe the one of the funnest passages ever written. The book is worth it for this alone. That's not to say the rest of the book is not great. Peter David is one of the best authors i've ever read.

Summary: It's about time for Sulu
Review: Finally a book that gives us some insight into the private life of Sulu. We have been bombarded with information about Kirk, Spock and Bones but little has been done to add to our knowledge of the rest of the characters. While the ending became rather obvious long before the book gets there, it is still a well written book that delves into the struggle of Star Fleet officers before their families were allowed to travel with them (TNG). I was truly able to feel the internal struggle of both men.

Summary: Captain Sulu, I presume!
Review: Great job on one of my favorite Star Trek characters. One of the few all Sulu books out there and very good on the biographical aspect of the character, especially providing an explaination to all of us Trek fans on how Sulu got a daughter. I hope to see more on the further adventures of Captain Hikaru Sulu.

Summary: Wow! Another gem by Peter David
Review: How does Peter David do it? Just when I think I've read the best that Peter David has to offer, he blows me out of the water with another masterpiece. As I read Peter's novels, I find myself completely immersed in the story and the plot. I feel compelled to keep reading, just to see how the story will unfold.

No doubt about it, this novel is one of those which kept me glued to my seat throughout. Great character development, typical Peter David humor, and of course the mystery and suspense that only Peter David can weave. This novel is up in the likes of Imzadi and Excaliber Restoration.

Get this book and read it. I guarantee you will not be dissappointed!

Summary: One of the best!
Review: Just got through this book in 1 night. It was very nice to read a book centered on Sulu. The book delves into Sulu's character with excellent insights. At the same time, a good storyline unfolded. And (not to give anything away), I was surprised and pleased by the turn of events as the story neared its climax. Often, I feel I want something more when a book ends. At the end of this book - I felt I had all expectations fulfilled!

Summary: Peter David is a Master!
Review: One of the best Trek novels I've ever read -- David fleshes out characters like Demora Sulu and Captain Harriman so well that I'd love to read more about them. David is hands down the best Star Trek writer around today. A must-read.

Summary: Thank you, Peter!
Review: Peter David did an excellent job on this book. In fact, he does wonderfully on every Star Trek book he writes. This book has action, adventure, life-threatening situations, romance, and mystery, at which point we get to the **second** half of the book. If you liked the twining threads of his other novels, you'll love "The Captain's Daughter. Trust me.
