Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Inventive, Creative and Engaging
Review: This story provided everythning I enjoy in a Star Trek Book. It was very easy to read and did a wonderful job of providing excellent visual descriptions. I can't wait to read the next one written by Diane Carey.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Books were not as important as I thought they would be.
Review: When I saw this seies I bought all the books. The dominion war is referred to a number of Star Trek books with little detail. The 2 Shatner Trilogies refer to it as well. And, of course the TV shows dealt with it.

I figured that with four books to accomplish to job, I would get a "full" understanding and description of the Dominion war. It doesn't happen. These books offer little and are not important to the Star Trek story.

Books one and three are with the TNG characters. I don't care for TNG books that have little or no participation of my second favorite character DATA. (guess how i feel about nemesis?) Books 2 and 4 are with the DS9 characters and seem to offer little that you haven't seen.

Riker spends the entire book in space dock romancing a lunatic bureaucrat. Data sits on a lifeless planet doing nothing.

Worf still hasn't married Jax or whoever she is this week. Ron Laran falls for a guy named Sam?

Books 1 and 3 rate a 3.5 star and books 2 and 4 rate a 2.5 for an average of 3. But if you are interested in buying books to fill in fun details about the dominion war, they haven't been written yet.

Maybe Michael Stackpole and Aaron Allston can get together and write a good series about the Dominion War.

Summary: Behind Enemy Lines
Review: When intelligence reveals an artificial wormhole being built in Dominion space, Captain Picard is reunited with Ro Laren. With their new friendship they set out to destroy this new and lethal threat! You've got to be crazy to mss this one.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Lots of action and very enjoyable.
Review: While most of the crew of the Enterprise-E are underutilized in this first installment of a new series, we get to catch up with some old favorites. Ro Lauren, Sam Lavelle, and Taurik all play a large role in this mission.

Well written and well paced this book left me anxiosly anticipating John Vornholt's next book. I've got to see how this mission turns out.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A great Star Trek novel
Review: While watching Deep Space Nine I always wondered if the Enterprise had any missions against the Dominion. Afterall, this is the flagship of the Federation were talking about. Books 1 and 3 focus on the Enterprise crew, and they are probably the best the series has to offer. The plot is excellent and John Vornholt does a fantastic job with all the characters. Its good to see Ro Laren playing a part in the novel. She was always a fascinating character in the series that the writers should've concentrated more on. After reading books 1 and 3, I wished Paramount used this storyline for the last Star Trek film. Instead, we got the usual garbage on screen. In any case, if your a fan of Star Trek, especially the Next Generation, then you will love this novel.
