Summary: Best R.A. Salvatore book ever.
Review: If you are just starting to read Forgotten realms books this is the book for you. It has one of the best story lines in any book i have ever read. What author other than R.A. Salvatore could of come up with a charecter that is a dwarven druid. If you havn't read it do so.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A Masterpiece! Salvatore has done it once again!
Review: Ignore the review from April. It was obviously a late, not to mention pathetic, April Fool's joke. Upon opening the book to Canticle, I was immediately absorbed into Salvatore's world. Recieving the impression that Salvatore was merely a guide through the quintet, I felt like I was actually observing Cadderly and his friends through the entire quintet. Full of well developed personalaties and characteristics, the entire quintet was magnificent. Bound in a riveting adventure, I finished the entire quintet in four days. Any fantasy reader would be foolish to miss this outstanding series

get to know the characters and watch relationships develop,
it also has adventure, trechery, and a touch of humor. This

Summary: Outstanding! A wonderful novel!
Review: One of the best books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I wish I could go back and read it once again for the first time. Salvator has never disappointed me and Cantical is no exception.

Summary: A great Beginning...
Review: People are saying that book 5 (which I have not yet read) is terrible. I cant imagine how after reading this book. I think it was amazing! the way that RA Salvatore descrobed Ivan and Pikel was phenominal. I fell in love with the two dwarfs and I can't wait to read IN SYLVAN SHADOWS. I have read many fantasy novels such as Elminster in Myth Drannor and Shannara series. With all the books I have read this is by far the best ever. I cant wait to continue the series so try this book out at least!

Summary: Excellent
Review: R.A. Salvatore is simply the best fantasy writer period and this series is a fine example of his abilities. The talented young Cadderly and the beautiful dedicated Danica make for quite an interesting team. This series is a definite buy for anyone who reads Forgotten Realms (and any other genre for that matter). Pick it up, you will not be dissappointed.

Summary: RA excells in Character Development
Review: RA Salvatore has shown why he is the sole author keeping TSR afloat. His realistic characters and their chemistry always amaze me. Well Done RA, Well Done!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Surprisingly good
Review: Salvatore spent the first several chapters laying the groundwork for a great book and a terrific series. Although I found the book slow at first, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it picked up. Before long, the pages were flying by and I found myself reaching for In Sylvan Shadows. Salvatore is the only author I've ever read that has made me feel true empathy towards his characters, and this book is no exception. An excellent read for anyone who is ready for a great story (even if it doesn't involve Drizzt).

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Good cleric book!!
Review: The book starts kind of slow but as you get near the turning point, their is Salvatore at his best!!

dont think, "oh, its another cleric book"
the charcter interactions are so much better then drizzt and as the story progress into the other books they get even better.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A great, magical, enchanting series... a bad book
Review: The Cleric Quintet is a masterpiece of Salvatores, in my opinion far outdoing Any of Salvatores oither works. The series contains many believable characters, stunning action sequences, and a realistic Romance between Cadderly and Danica. At points in the seond, third, fourth, and fifth books, I laughed, I cried, and I clapped. That said, let me move on to Canticle. Canticle was just plain horrid. It reads as a cutesy, yet dark, childrens novel, with emphasis based on the "silly" aspects of thew characters, rather than the realistic. All the characters but Cadderly, Danica, and Druzil read like cheesy soap opera characters. Thus, the book itself garners a one star rweview from me, but the potential greatness earns it two more.
