Rating: Summary: A Brilliant Story For All Spock Lovers Review: "Yesterdays Son" is great for people who love to watch inner torment of charecters. The charecter of Zar (Spocks son) is wonderful to watch grow in his knew enviornment. The always pleasurable disputes between Mc Coy and Spock are also quite present in this delightfull story. It is also nice to see the mutual respect grow for the "father and son". All in all, a must have on my Star Trek scale.

Rating: Summary: "Yesterday's Son" Review: A must read for Spock fans! Heck a must read for any Trek fans. Spock discovers that he has a son trapped in the past and when Spock utilizes the Guardian of Forever to travel back to meet his child, he is surprised to find a grown man instead. Spock's struggles to come to terms with his son are explored wonderfully by author A.C. Crispin.
Rating: Summary: An Epic in its own right! Review: A.C.Crispin's first novel ever, published in 1983 by Pocket was an instant New York Times best seller. Book 11 in the Original Star Trek book series births new characters that blossom like literary super novas. If you're a true fan of the series, you WILL love this book...
Rating: Summary: A Favorite Review: Ann Crispin is another one of my fave ST writers and this is one of my favorite books, though I do have to say that the sequel is even better. I like how Spock has to figure out how to be a father let alone how to deal with a grown son. Not all of it works, but enough of it works to make this a good book...read this then go read the sequel Time for Yesterday, it's even better
Rating: Summary: One of the best of the early Pocket Books Star Trek novels. Review: Based on Spock's encounter with Zarabeth (Mariette Hartley), this novel is an original story expounding on one side plotline.
The concept of a half Vulcan running around in a near primitive society infers that the superior intellect and learning capabilities of the Vulcan race, this novel and the sequel explore this concept.
One of the top collectable Pocket Novels.
Rating: Summary: like father like son Review: I have been a Trekkie since the show came out in the 60's and this is one of the best Star Trek stories that I have read or seen. The new charaters in this book are very believable and the way that Spock and his son are written is achingly true of many father and son relationships. Granted they have a few more problems than most..... There is also plenty of the usual give and take between the captain, doctor, and Spock. I like good endings and this has one. What more can you ask? This is a good read.
Rating: Summary: Highy Recommended! Review: I read this Star Trek novel in response to the tremendous "hype" that I had seen regarding both this novel and its sequel "Time For Yesterday." I have to say that both novels live up to their reputations as some of the best Star Trek fiction you'll find in print. Both stories are well written and well structured. The author's understanding of and affection for the characters and her dedication to the subject matter permeate both texts providing the reader with a very special experience.
