Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great DM Tool
Review: The must have collection of magic items. Works great if you know what you need. Just have a piece of paper handy while browseing. You may find an amusing item and need to note the page number.

Summary: Somewhat Nice
Review: The only reason to get these books is if you have no imagination, or need to get magical items in your treasure quickly. The 4th volume is the most useful, as it has the index and tables for rolling the items randomly.

Summary: A must have
Review: These books are my most prized possesion. Although I own and prefer the original faux-leather editions better (which are long out of print)than the latest paperback. They are stacked with tons of info on almost every item created in D&D history.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: good books
Review: these books have just about anything you could imagine and more.

Summary: This book is an excellent reference source for AD&D.
Review: This book describes in detail all the little effects of each item. It helps a lot when I'm actually playing and have no idea exactly what an item does.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Lots of good stuff in this one
Review: This book has an incredible selection of magic items from magazines and books. Some of the magic items are ridiculous, but most are really great and provide great ideas for new ones.

Summary: A book for all Advanced Dungeons And Dragons players!
Review: This book or encyclopedia which ever you call it was an amazing tribute too anyone who has created magical items for the game

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Excellent magical items source for DM's and gamers alike
Review: Well, to start with you'd expect this book to be entirely stacked to the rafters with the utmost in specific magics from all corners of the AD&D gaming worlds. When in actual fact it is stacked to the rafters with the utmost in specific magics from all corners of the AD&D gaming worlds. There are some good, some not so good and some damn right evil pieces of equipment in here. Naturally it is a bit of a pain having to buy all 4 to get the full benefit, but imagine the fun with all those amulets, and armour types. To be honest it is not great. But it does list every magical item from the DM guide (1st edition) to Dragon magazine (about issue 200). It's really good, honest!
