Summary: Beautifully Written!
Review: Kindred Spirits was the first DragonLance novel I read.It touched my heart! I felt so sorry for Tanis. I just wanted to give the poor guy a hug. I cried alot. Kindred Spirits is my favorite book. I want to thank Mark Anthony and Ellen Porath for writing it.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Pleasant reading
Review: Nicely written, although there were some parts where the flow of the story were simply awkward or jerky. However, the writers were true to the personalities of the characters, and also managed to bring out the true friendship between Flint and Tanis. Altogether, a pleasantly written story about the harsh prejudice Tanis must endure from his elven side before the true meaning of friendship brings him peace and freedom.

Summary: This series leaves a lot to be desired
Review: The Meetings Sextet's have not been what I expected at all. I was really disappointed in the series. Although I will say that it gives you a birds eye view of the humble beginnings of our favorite Heroes and Villans of the War of the Lance, Flint, Sturm, Caramon, et. al. I rated it lowly due to the fact that the stories put me to sleep, rather than keep me in good attention. If you want to know more about the characters it is a must read, if you are not interested do not pick up on the series.

Summary: Absorbing and heart-rending
Review: This book is one of my all-time favorites. For anyone who has never read a Dragonlance book (this one in particular), I have one thing to say to you. RUSH, RUSH to the bookstore and pick this one up! I am an elfaholic, and this book sates my cravings wonderfully. It is set in beatiful Qualinesti, and tells of Tanis Half-Elven's early life in a predjudiced society. It made me cry. Rare is the novel that can do that

Summary: Not as thrilling as the others.
Review: This book wasn't as thrilling as the other DL books. The writing style was far different than what I was accustumed to (after reading the books by Margret&Tracy).

Summary: A Must Read For All Elves
Review: This is an enthralling story of Tanis from his early roots in Qualinost. Here begins his life long friendship with the unforgettable Flint Fireforge. Here begins his life long captivation of the all too alluring Lauranathalsa.(To my satisfaction the human woman Kitiara has yet to be born and belongs no where in this story)Here begins his life long torment, knowing he will never be accepted among his homelanders. This story offers an interesting look into the past of my three favorite characters. One of my favorite books so far.....

Summary: Kindred Spirits
Review: This is an great book! I recommend it to every real DragonLance reader. This books has happy times, sad times, and suspenseful times! It sheds new light on both Tanis and Flint. Plus the Solostran family. If you like a good book with everything in it, get this one!

Summary: good book
Review: This is the first book in the Meetings Sextet and occurs prior to Dragons of Autumn Twilight. Flint Fireforge happily settled in the elven land of Qualinost - who would ever believe this? He meets the young half-elf Tanis, and this is where their life-long friendship begins. This is also the start of the collaborative work of the companions of the Chronicles series, and tells part of the story of Flint and Tanis' younger years. I would recommend this book to anyone who really enjoyed the main characters in the Chronicles. The story shares some insights into these two notorious characters.

Summary: Great Story of Flint Fireforge and Tanis Half-Elven
Review: This story is a perfect example of how a book series can be written by more than just one author. Since Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman started the Dragonlance novels over a decade ago, fans have been enthralled by the storiesof the people of Krynn. The people were thirsting for more and now they have got it! Stories from all the heroes and villians were brought into a new life. This book is just a perfect example of this. In the Legends Trilogy parts ofTanis and Flint's past was discussed, but the true story was never told. Mark Anthony and Ellen Porath have told a story that would be Flint's liking. They put the peices of Tanis's relationship with his family and his love for Laurana. Also Flint and how he came to know Tanis and the the Speaker of the Suns. Finally they gave the elves a cultureand class that had not been reveiled. But with that cultureit showed the dark side that the elves have. I would reccomend this book to any Dragonlance reader

Summary: One of the best books TSR ever published!
Review: This was the best Dragonlance book written to date, and anyone who says otherwise needs to be dragged out into the street and shot. Many people based reviews of this book in comparison to the others, how it is inferior and the tampering of the characters...SHUT UP! The fact is that it's beautifully written, great plot, and one of the few books to ever hold my attention. I wish Mark Anthony would write more novels.
