Rating: Summary: Great Review: I found this book very entertaining. Probably one of the more better books in the dragonlance sage, other than the ones written by W&H. It was a good read, complete with humor, intrigue, and action. The book went into the life of Flint Fireforge before meeting the half-elf, Tanis. Upon meeting, the two grew to be quick friends. But when Tanis is accused of murder, Flint has to help him get clear. I felt that the book was good. While it didnt have the most action in he world, it was still a nice read. The only thing i didnt like in this book was the relationship between Tanis and Laurana. But that is another story. Anyway, i recommend it. Buy it, Read it, Love it.
Rating: Summary: Interesting... helps you understand the other books better Review: I liked this book a lot... I always liked Tanis and Flint, and it was great to see why Tanis was so sore about his past and Qualinesti. I didn't give it 5 stars because I think the author should've used a faster pace and included Tanis' and Kitiara's relationship... if you read Dark Heart, which is Kit's background, you still don't get to read about those two! Aaarrrgghhh!
Rating: Summary: A Dragonlance must fan must read! Review: I really do recomment this book. Simply put it is the best the meeting books. An if you really like Tanis and Flint this may be one of the best books in the entire Lance series.
Rating: Summary: Best of the 6 meeting books!... Review: I was looking around for a good book when I found this book. I gave it a read and I liked it a lot! It tells how Tanis and Flint met and the relationship growing between Laurana and Tanis. It explains why Tanis despises the Qualinesti and it tells how good Flint was at metalsmithing before he retired. It is a good mix of fantasy and mystery. I'm proud to say it figured out who the real murderer was before they tell you by figuring out motives and taking in clues. But it isn't easy! (in other words it is a good read for mystery fans) I've read 3 of the other meetings books and am working on the other 2, But this by far is the best one of the 6. If your getting any of the meetings Sextet series don't you dare forget to get this one. This is really good. I can't believe a paleontologist and a teacher of agricultural journalism wrote this. (most other books seem to be written by people who spend a lot of their time writing...)
Rating: Summary: THRILLING Review: it was a really exciting book. not as much action as the other meetings books though
Rating: Summary: Great book for Flint or Tanis fans Review: It was great to find out about the past of these two after reading the Chronicles, etc. I'd suggest reading them first before this, even though this takes place before, it is a better read knowing what happens to Tanis and Flint in the future.

Rating: Summary: ROOTS Review: It was very interesting to dive into the place of Tanis's origin. This book helps you understand how Tanis became such a strong character in the saga, while opening your eyes to his relationship with Flint and Laurana. The understanding you receive of Elvin society is one you can hold on to for the rest of the saga. I had problems with the ending, which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. They tried to keep Tanis from being banished, and when they succeeded- they left anyway.
Rating: Summary: I was pleasantly surprised by "Kindred Spirits" Review: It was very interesting to learn about the early years of Tanis, Half-Elf. It fills in a lot of blank spaces from the Chronicles Trilogy, which I loved at first sight. Tanis is a wonderful character to write about because of his tragic beginnings and strength of spirit, which makes him very likeable. I do wish the Tanis/Laurana relationship was developed more, but I can understand since the focus was on Flint and Tanis. The ending was pretty abrupt, they killed off Tyresian (which I almost missed b/c it was so short an explanation) just so it would fit into the series later on. I do enjoy the reading books based off the original series, there are many very talented authors that can continue the legacy left off by Weis and Hickman.
Rating: Summary: Kindred Spirited Review: Kindred Spirits is an excellent book. The storyline is rich and well thought out. The original Dragonlance characters Flint and Tanis are very compatable as friends. My only complaint is that it is very elf biased which can get very boring (Especially with elven customs).
