Rating: Summary: Great book Review: This book is a really good episode guide and sailor moon roleplaying section. It even has the new "lost" episodes. I learned in a day how to play! I would recomend this to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Great Picuture!!! Review: My friend has this book and the pictures are just great the yhave pretty much every character. If you are a fan of the art you will like this book. And the game itself is fun too.
Rating: Summary: Great if you like the Anime Review: My first experience with this book was my freshman year in college. Me and my friends go together and played a campaign in which there were no sailor scouts but just knights. We then of course got big eyes small mouth and expanded the possibilities of the gaming sphere. If you want to play an RPG that doesn't have mind boggling statistics then this is it, because everything is based of a roll of 2-12 on two 6 sided dice. Really easy system good for beginners and experts alike. Try it.
Rating: Summary: If you like Sailor Moon, you'll love this book! Review: If you like Role Playing and if you like Sailor Moon, you'll absolutely LOVE this book! Guardians of Order has come out with the absolutely simplest RP system possible. They call it the the Tri-Stat System. All you have are three stats and a couple of 6 sided dice. Roll up your character and assign some numbers and attributes... Now, you're ready to play! Based on the popular Anime series, Sailor Moon, this RPG is a sure hit. I've both played and run campaigns with this book and I've enjoyed being on both sides of the coin. Sailor Moon is a wonderful universe Role Play in and Guardians of Order couldn't possibly have made it any easier! Plus, with all the added resource material about the shows, OVAs, characters, and villians, this book is a must have for any serious SM fan!
Rating: Summary: Excellent RPG System Review: The Sailor Moon Role-Playing Game and Resource Book is a definite must-have for Sailor Moon fans, even those not interested in role-playing games. The book contains an easy-to-learn gaming system, as well as useful reference information concerning the Japanese versions of Sailor Moon, history on the "magical girl" genre and its relation to Sailor Moon, extremely helpful information on Japan (for personal knowledge and for game play), and excellent screenshots and artwork. I spent the summer running a Sailor Moon campaign, and the players all really enjoyed the system. I personally recommend also acquiring the character diaries, which contain FOURTEEN-page character sheets; while unnecessary, a player TRULY knows his or her character once all fourteen pages are completed.
Rating: Summary: Super resource, but needs color Review: This book contains a wealth of information about Sailor Moon, its characters, settings, and first two seasons. I'm not into role playing games myself, but I love all the details and pictures on one of my favorite shows. Most of the pictures are black & white, which is okay until you see what the same publisher did for its recent RPG book for Tenchi Muyo. It blows you away.Looking forward to the next edition!
Rating: Summary: Info Info and more info Review: well, when I FIRST got this book I thought it was the COOLEST! it has all the info on the scouts and PLUS you can play a game with it. although because of lack of people around who like sailor moon enough to play a GAME of it I used it only for the reference part of it. I even used it on my web page too and it was pretty helpful although, I'd have ta say that the images are pretty shoddy, I've seen them on the net sooo much that its getting oldbut otherwise, its a great resource...
Rating: Summary: one word....wow! Review: Really expensive. but it's worth your money. 16 pages of full-color pictures. including villans, & a future pic with inner& neo & knig. filled with tons of information & also black & white pics. Profiles of the inners & even the Outters! And episode summary too. But i think there should've been pics of the outers.Pic of Japan & Tokyo. Umm....also how to say Japanese Names. Yeah & the bottom line........ 200 PAGES OF SAILOR MOON! that should be enough.Enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Great if you don't get headaches easily Review: This book is awesome. It has loads of information, pronunciation guides, character profiles, color pictures, opening song translations, japanese versus english stuff, lots of black and white pictures that I liked to color in, and a great RPG strategy. Only one real downside, the strategy. It is great and thourogh, but completely confusing. I have read the gaming section about 3 times, and i am still misunderstanding parts. Overall, it is a great book, and i would have bought it even if i had known about the strategy. if you are a very devoted SM fan, this is great for you.
