Rating: Summary: A definite buy for any Sailor Moon fan! Review: I own and have read this book. I think it's the best. I especially like the resource book in the back. It's got voice actors names, episode summaries, profiles, information on Japanese customs, information on the Japanese and English versions of Sailor Moon, mythology related to the show, and lots of other things. It also contains about 200 images throughout the book. Most of the book is all about the Tri-Stat-System Sailormoon RPG. I've gone through it. The game rules seem a little complicated, but the game looks fun once you learn how to play. If you like Sailor Moon, I recommend this book for you!
Rating: Summary: Must Have for ANY Fan! Review: What started out as a small manga in Japan, grew to a great popular hit-series Anime! Sailor Moon has enchanted our hearts from the very beginning. For some of us, the 200 episodes are not enough. Guardians of Order has taken the time to fulfil this craving. Sailor Moon Role-Playing Game and Resource Book is just what Sailor Moon Fans want to expand their knowledge of the series, and expand the series itself. This book contains Dozens of Pictures from ALL seasons and numerous Character Information. Best of all, this wonder-packed book is a Role-Playing Guide Book to guide you in many Role-Playing experiences. This book contains Everything you need to know about the Sailor Moon Season here in America and information on the Original in Japan. This book contains everything you could possibly think of! Great pictures, a LOT of info on Sailor Moon, (Even the Japanese series.) and of course, the main feature of the book, the Sailor Moon RPG! You can even create your own characters. Or, what i like to do, since this RPG is mainly for the first two seasons, you can create bad guys or Senshi from the other ones! ^_^ That's what I do when I play Galactica, my favorite! So, if you want a really, great game to play that's easy to learn, or a TON of Sailor Moon pictures to look at and try to draw, or info on Sailor Moon that we'll probually never know seeing how they don't show the full versions of the shows here or have the other three series, GET THIS BOOK! NOW!
Rating: Summary: A Good Buy for the Casual Collector or the Hard Core Fan! Review: When I bought this book I was a little weary because it was a little pricy. But once I took it home and read it, boy was I glad that I got it! It provides a break down of all the Senshi, Tuxedo Mask, and all the enemies from SM and SMR. What made me really happy though, was the information that was included about the Outer Senshi and the Sailor StarLights. I had not seen any eps with them yet and the information in this book was a real treat. I've been an SM fan for quite a while and I constantly find myself scouring my room trying to find this book because of the vast range of information it contains. From a summary of each episode in SM and SMR, to the inclusion of the missing eps that were not dubbed, a timeline of the "Sailor Moon Universe" and background information on many of the places in the Anime, including the Silver Millennium, and the Negaverse. This book also includes a breakdown of the names and information behind each scouts name, planet and other information you'd want to consider when making your own Senshi for RPG's or Fan Fics. Even if you never plan on joining a Role playing game, this book will provide you with an endless supply of info that I promise you'd spend hours on end looking for on the net.
Rating: Summary: This book is a must have for anime/rpg lovers Review: My first experience with this book was my freshman year in college. Me and my friends go together and played a campaign in which there were no sailor scouts but just knights. We then of course got big eyes small mouth and expanded the possibilities of the gaming sphere. If you want to play an RPG that doesn't have mind boggling statistics then this is it, because everything is based of a roll of 2-12 on two 6 sided dice. Really easy system good for beginners and experts alike. Try it.
Rating: Summary: If you like Sailor Moon, you'll love this book! Review: Buy this! It's such a cool book. Now you can roleplay your favorite Scout and use your own wits to beat the Negaverse. This book features an easy-to-learn roleplaying game,a comprehensive Sailor Moon resource and reference section,a colour character gallery, and hundreds of Sailor Moon images.A summary of every episode in first two seasons is also included.
Rating: Summary: Woohoo! Role Playing! Review: If you like Role Playing and if you like Sailor Moon, you'll absolutely LOVE this book! Guardians of Order has come out with the absolutely simplest RP system possible. They call it the the Tri-Stat System. All you have are three stats and a couple of 6 sided dice. Roll up your character and assign some numbers and attributes... Now, you're ready to play! Based on the popular Anime series, Sailor Moon, this RPG is a sure hit. I've both played and run campaigns with this book and I've enjoyed being on both sides of the coin. Sailor Moon is a wonderful universe Role Play in and Guardians of Order couldn't possibly have made it any easier! Plus, with all the added resource material about the shows, OVAs, characters, and villians, this book is a must have for any serious SM fan!
Rating: Summary: Excellent RPG System Review: The Sailor Moon Role-Playing Game and Resource Book is a definite must-have for Sailor Moon fans, even those not interested in role-playing games. The book contains an easy-to-learn gaming system, as well as useful reference information concerning the Japanese versions of Sailor Moon, history on the "magical girl" genre and its relation to Sailor Moon, extremely helpful information on Japan (for personal knowledge and for game play), and excellent screenshots and artwork. I spent the summer running a Sailor Moon campaign, and the players all really enjoyed the system. I personally recommend also acquiring the character diaries, which contain FOURTEEN-page character sheets; while unnecessary, a player TRULY knows his or her character once all fourteen pages are completed.
Rating: Summary: Super resource, but needs color Review: This book contains a wealth of information about Sailor Moon, its characters, settings, and first two seasons. I'm not into role playing games myself, but I love all the details and pictures on one of my favorite shows. Most of the pictures are black & white, which is okay until you see what the same publisher did for its recent RPG book for Tenchi Muyo. It blows you away.Looking forward to the next edition!
