Summary: The crew of Voyager must save itself and the peace.
Review: The superweapon and Star Trek are well known bedfellows in the universe of sci-fi. From the Doomsday Machine in the original TV series, to this novel, Captains in Star Trek must overcome the impossible with almost nothing.

Arbuk brings us a new characters' take on the man vs. superweapon scenario. Betancourt brings off the culmination of this conflict as well as any of the other authors who have attempted it. Involving the Voyager and Captain Janeway does bring a refreshing twist to this solid Star Trek storyline.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent book. Possibly the best one I've read so far
Review: This book is a brilliant book. It's brilliant for adults and teenagers (if you like that sort of thing. There isn't really anything else to say. Accurate from all other Star Trek account i.e. right names, equipment as some Star Trek books contradict Star Trek series. I'm just so gobsmacked that I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone who likes this sort of thing

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A very good book from beginning to end!
Review: This book is probably one of the best Star Trek Voyager books. I think that the story was well told and it has everything ayou want in a voyager book!

Summary: Could have been better.
Review: This book was a minor dissapointment in my case, partly because it had a plot totally centered around an episode of the original series.

I like to see continuity, but since the same issue had already been adressed in the TNG novel "Vendetta" by Peter David, it seemed unnecessary.

"Incident at Arbuck" is set shortly after the first season episode "The Cloud", although (again) you get no information about this in the fashion of a historian's note, so I figured it out while reading the book.

It contains good action and characterization and is build like an episode of the show, including a totally unremarkable, if well written side-plot, wich at least is tied to the main plot in the end. The book is readable, but nothing you should ecpecially look for.

Summary: It was Pointless
Review: This book was dull, not to mention pointless. It left me with a sense that Janeway had done something wrong, by coming to the star system. It didn't have much scientific information about the Superweapon, and the Characters didn't interact. you got the feeling that no one really liked each other... On the whole I was bored. For slower readers this might be a good book, but fast readers probaly won't enjoy it. It doesn't leave you with a feeling of completness, like most Voyager books do.

Summary: Okay book
Review: This book was not one of my favorites it took me longer to read it than any other one. I guess it just really didnt catch my attention.
