Rating: Summary: The most important book you need in Shadowrun Review: You can do anything without tjhis book. It contains all the rules, and all the errata in it. It's got a nice index for quick referencing and organizes everything into chapters.
Rating: Summary: 3rd editions are for munchkins Review: You heard me, Munchkins. If you're a power-gamer, you'll love the awesome, godlike power FASA has granted you in 3rd edition. With so many character creation points, you might as well just fill in whatever numbers you like on your character sheet. It's more honest. If you're a hardcore (or new) gamer, and you want to try the cyberpunk genre, Shadowrun is one of the most versatile systems ever created. One of its best features is a virtually classless character creation system. If you can imagine it, there's a way to make it. But if you're not up for a massive RPG power trip and want a more balanced game, go hunting for 2nd edition sourcebooks.
