Summary: Great Quintet, not so good ending
Review: The Cleric Quintet is by far, my favorite series ever made. Drizzt is a close second. All five books where beautiful, wonderful story telling, humour, and the fight scenes are incredible. The character growth is amazing, you see Cadderly grow up, change, forced to change. While The Chaos Curse was a great book, the actual ending, the last chapter, I think was aweful. I dont believe anyone wanted to see Cadderly become 90 years old and die just to build a church. It seemed a waste of character, and it made me feel betrayed..R.A. Salvatore is a great writer, but the whole ending of the story was a complete let down

Summary: great book
Review: this was a satisfying end to a great story that spans five books. Some may not like the ending but if anyone is a true fan of Salvatore will continue reading the dark elf books and understand that the world of Cadderly isn't at an end. A genuinely enjoyable book. Recommended!

Summary: A good conclusion to a series that took too long.
Review: While "The Chaos Curse" gave the closure that I was looking for, it, like most Forgotten Realms novels, had a predictable ending to a series that should have been a trilogy. While I enjoy the work of R.A. Salvatore, I think that he stretched this story out too much. Read the book to finish the series, not to be astounded by the author's literary prowess.
