Summary: The greatest book I've read!
Review: The greatest book I've read. I had this book for a long time and I still keep reading it. Salvatore is da bomb! An excellent book of hidden conspiracies, outrageous confrontations, and a twisting tale of events. An all-time heroic novel of five friends: Drizzt Do'Urden, Bruenor Battlhammer, Wulfgar, Catti-Brie and Regis the halfling. A must buy for all AD&D lovers!

Summary: I CAN'T WAIT TO READ THE NEXT BOOK STREAMS OF SILVER!
Review: This book was the greatest! I thought it was better than even the third book of the dark elf trilogy, Sojourn. This book was definitely the best Forgotten Realms book I have ever read! Even thought I have only read four I am not sure if there will be a book to top this one! I hope that a number of people will buy this book and read it. This book had every monster of fantasy you could think of from halfling to dragon this book has it all! Its none stop action and keeps your attention every minute. I just got through reading it and I still can't stop thinking of it. I am about to start the second book of this trilogy and I hope this one is just as great as the other.

Summary: Seriously good boook.
Review: Another R. A. Salvatore classic. Better take a paid vacation 'cause you won't be able to stop reading.

Summary: The plot is very obvious, but the book is fun none the less.
Review: After reading the Crystal Shard I found that I wanted to read the rest of the books in Salvatore's series with the main character Drizzt Do'Urden. The crystal shard is to books what action films are to movies. If you want a fun book with lots of action and not a very complex plot then this is the book for you. If you are looking for a book that is Science Fiction but has a deep plot while still keeping the reader entertained, then try some other author because in none of the works following this book does a deep plot ever appear. Though I enjoyed the book I must confess it is one of my dirty little pleasures in life to read these 'action" books. In any case the book is worth reading because as the saying goes: "To each his own"

Summary: Horrible Book, Fantastic Author
Review: This book is by far the worst Salvatore book I've read (and I've read every single Drizzt book and the frist 2 Demon Wars books.) It reminds me of a "B" movie. However, I still highly recommend it, because you have to read it to read the rest of the series. The rest of the series is one of my all time favorites (right up with Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth)

Summary: Salvatore Rules
Review: Hey i'm a 7th grader who reads a whole lot of these fantasy books. But Salvatore is the absolute best fantasy writer. His demon war series is probably better than lord of the rings. Currently I'm reading his crimson shadow series. Salvatore is just so brilliant when it comes to fantasy. It wouldn't suprise me if he replace Tolkien as the father of fantasy. gotta go

Summary: is that Drizzt!?
Review: Oh my gosh a cover where Drizzt actually looks GOOD! I'll be dipped, double dipped at that! Hey Mr.Salvatore please get the cover artist to do more for you. Oh yeah, what's between the covers ain't bad either ;-)

Summary: Lot's of action some work plajorized from tolkien.
Review: I think that "The Crystal Shard" had lots of action but some parts were alike to Tolkien's The Lord Of The Rings. Halflings and Dwarves.Regis is being pursued and Regis accomanied by an elf a dwarf and a barbarian alike to Gimli, Legolas, and Arogorn. Mithril hall alike to Moria in The Fellowship of The Ring. Dragons, orcs, goblins, trolls. Godd writing but R.A.Salvatore should use his own ideas.

Summary: The future of fantasy...
Review: This book was, and still is, the most ground-breaking fantasy novel I have ever read. The characters have incredible character depth and the story line is compelling. R.A. Salvatore shows all the writing skills which will go on to spawn the most compelling fantasy trilogy of all time. I truly loved this book and can only hope that Salvatore goes on to write loads more
