Rating: Summary: A surprisingly good novel Review: I typically do not like novels based on a TV show, even one such as Babylon 5. But this one surprised me. It's amazing how you can know *exactly* how things are going to turn out, yet be shocked when you find out the second time. About my only complaint was that it couldn't be longer. I would like to have found out more about these people.
Rating: Summary: Before the Babylon project, there was the Corp. Review: I absolutely love this book. It answers so much about the history of the Psi Corps, and about Bester, who is the best charactor in B-5. He was always mysterious, and this shows a little bit about why he is the way he is. It also tells so much about the telepaths in the Psi Corps. It shows why they are always so loyal to the Corps. This is Babylon 5 at its best.
Rating: Summary: Excellent, I could not put it down. Review: This was unexpected in its detail, wonderful in its links to past and future and quite thoroughly an excellent read. Not what I expected at all and I only hope the next two are as good.
Rating: Summary: And so it begins.... Review: This book peers into the womb of the psi corps and sets up as many questions as answers it gives. This is a must for any b5 history or b5 psi corps buff... It reads like a b5 prequel movie. Excellent writing!
Rating: Summary: revealing the begining Review: This story explains the wonderful emergence of Telepaths in the human community. Spanning decades it traces different elements of what will become the Psi Corps. The wild and uncontrolable power of raw telepathy and the politics of protecting telepaths from normals and vice versa. While no B5 series characters make a great appearance in this book it's a definite read for those who need to know what Psi Corps is and why it is that way.
Rating: Summary: I loved it! Review: This book was the best! I loved how it didn't just take place in one time period, it was 80 years long. It made me emotion, I even cryed a litle bit! I love B5 and this made me understand what things were like before and after meeting aliens, and after the discovery of teeps. The characters were very real, and some of them were very likeable.
Rating: Summary: This was great! Review: I thought this was a great book! I can picture this going down the same way in real life! And forget about happy endings!
Rating: Summary: The best novel written about Babylon5. Review: As an avid fan of the Babylon5 TV show I must say that this book is the only one available that does justice to the TV show. Mr. Keys is obviously not only a very good writer of Science Fiction, but he is also a fan of the show. Reading this book was just like watching the TV show. Mr. Keyes drew me into the world he had created so completely that I couldn't put the book down until I finished it. I would highly recommend this book to any Babylon5 fan and more importantly to any fan of science fiction. This was the only Babylon5 book I've read that was obviously written by someone who didn't just use the writers B5 bible to write this book. This writer knows the B5 story. Great job.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: A great masterpiece. This books explores the aspects of Babylon5 universe which are not explored in detail in the show. The ending of it made the hair on my neck rise. I would highly recommend it highly to any B5 fan. It is worth buying.
Rating: Summary: Keep the B5 coming!! Review: I have been an avid fan of B5 since episode 1, and this book catches the flavor of the show exactly! It was a little confusing on the timing, expecially the Alexander ladies, but if one is into B5, and other authors that do this (McCaffrey is one), it's not hard. The correlation of ancestors to show characters is awesome, and I can't wait until the other 2 in this series, and the Centauri Prime trilogy come out - they will fill in blanks from the show nicely!!
