Summary: Endgame Star Trek Voyager
Review: In a word fascinating, a great adaptation on the script. We get more details of what's going on with the characters, something lacking with the time restraints of TV.

Tom Paris, his father and new born child and wife B'Elanna for instance. Janeway and Chakotay together. Capt. Janeway and Admiral Janeway, the Janeways vs. the Borg Queen and Tuvak with a disease.

Fighting the Borg and their Queen and out foxing the Borg yet again. Using technology from the future to give the Borg something to assimilate if they can. And yet another way home via the Borg all for good fast reading.

This book moves fast and is a good wrap up, but there is a hint of the final wrap up in "Homecoming" that is sure to answer the rest of the questions concerning the Voyager crew.

A very fast read with a few typos, but nonetheless very fascinating, enjoy it. Then we hope "Homecoming" will give us the final answers, but with all good Sci-fi, there never is and end.

Summary: Perfect Portrayal of the TV Episode
Review: It's a really great book and is very precise with the details from the show. It actually gives more detail than the episode. Highly Reccomended if you haven't seen the real episode (I saw the episode after I read the book) If you have seen the real thing, don't bother buying it.

Summary: The End Of The Story, well-told!
Review: Let me first mention that I wrote this review before the events of September 11, and now that it is four days later, I wish only to keep it posted here, in the hopes that it may give us a glimpse into a bright, new future - not only for those characters we love in the Trek universe, but for ourselves as well.

Some might accuse me of showing favoritism when it comes to my reviews of the Trek novels. Okay...guilty! It's just that because I love Star Trek, I find little fault with those who write in that universe. Plus, I only read the novels that interest me, so of course my reviews might be more favorable than if I were reading them *all.* But I digress. On to "Endgame."

Janeway had a mission, and that was to get her crew home. She did. End of story. Anyone who thinks there should have been more to that story *must* read this novelization. The blanks are nicely filled in with all the things the televised episodes do not have enough time for. Add to that Diane Carey's unique maritime writing style (the "icebreaker prow" of one of the cube's corners, for example), her delicious narrative ("Seven had never been at ease with the way men looked at her. Having no barometer of social tenderizing with which to judge things as fleeting as physical presence, she didn't know she was an eagle's cry from average.") and her use of the number 47, and, well, you've got yum with a spoon!

Certainly, the whole TV episode is in there, but the additional information provided by thoughts and narrative make for a much deeper, more understandable, story. About the only fault I found was the number of typos (7). But that's no big deal when it comes to the story as a whole.

As to Christie Golden's four chapters of "Homecoming" at the end, I'm not ashamed to say I cried a little, and I cannot wait to read the whole thing. Resolution abounds for many characters and hints at more to come. It's obvious resolution's not the *only* thing going on in "Homecoming," but for a teaser, well, let's just say I'm saving my pennies to buy the book.

Summary: Great!
Review: One of the best books I've ever read! But how underpaid was the editor!? Too many typos.

Summary: My review
Review: This book is little more than a transcription of the series finale. Carey is a capable writer, unfortunately the script, on which this book is based, is weak source material. ENDGAME, the novel, doesn't really add to the story presented on television. The plot is as contrived as anything yet seen on VOYAGER, and the characters are as one-dimensional as their televised avatars. On the flip side, it is easy to read, and inoffensive. Lastly, this book was published as a trade paperback to offset reduced sales (since the novel was released so long after "Endgame" was televised, sales would be much lower than they would had the book appeared at the same time as the episode). It would have been a little more considerate if the publisher had, at least, included a photo insert.

Summary: End Game
Review: This book was very interesting and compelling. It deals wih tons of issues that went unresolved in the series. For example; Were the Maquis going to be sent to prison? Would Tom and his father make-up? All in all it's a Voyager book any self respecting Voyager fan would read. But one warning, there is a To Be Continued at the end of the book.In spite of that I loved this book!

Summary: Endgame, great book!
Review: This is such a cool book. What makes it so great was how we got to see more of what the characters feel in depth, behind the words. We got to read about the reactions in detail. The best part of Endgame has to be the conversations between the Janeways. There was even a little bit of Janeway and Chakotay - the description for them was nice to read, knowing what they were thinking. Reading Endgame was a pleasure and to have a four chapter sneak-preview of "Homecoming" was an added bonus. Just soooo cool!!!

Summary: It had J/C!!!!
Review: This version was soooooo much better than the acual episode! For one, it had Janeway and Chakotay together! That alone is worth 5 stars!

Summary: The End Of Voyager
Review: Though it is sad to see the series end on screen it is really great to see it continuing in book form.It still made me choke with happiness when Voyager came hurtling out of the borg sphere and Janeway telling admiral paris, Sorry for the surprise admiral, next time we'll call ahead, that had to be one of the funniest scenes done in a long time,

To continue I think that Chris. Golden continuation of the storyline is fabulous and I can't wait for the entire book to be released.
