Rating: Summary: Full of information! Review: This is one of the greatest Star Wars resource books I've ever seen. It will take you YEARS to get through all the information, making it worth the price. Two thumbs WAYYYY up!! : )
Rating: Summary: The definitive guide to the Star Wars univers Review: I have been a Star Wars fan long enough to have purchased previous all inclusive reference books to the star wars universe. This one blows them all away. First of all, since the resurgence of popularity of Star Wars mountains of material about the galaxy far, far away has been in circulation. New characters, worlds, and species have been created through comics and novels, not to mention the roleplaying game. The Star Wars Encyclopedia has cleanly laid it all down for Sci-fi posterity. This volume contains information to challenge and enhance the knowledge of any Star Wars fan. It is well worth a read. May The Force Be With You.
Rating: Summary: THE encyclopedia from a galaxy far, far away! Review: With the intense interest in the upcoming "Episode One" sequel to "Star Wars," and with the trailer frenzy (people paying $8.00 to see it without bothering to stay for the movie!!!), this book is IT. While it doesn't cover the "E1" characters, places or planets, this hefty book is still quite an accomplishment. After I bought a copy for myself, I bought another two copies for friends (one in Poland who offered me DOUBLE the value). "Star Wars" may very well be with us through the next millennium (I mean the year 3000!).
Rating: Summary: An awesome all-inclusive must for all Star Wars fans !!! Review: Wow ! Steven Sansweet managed to do the impossible - compile an encyclopedia for the enormous Star Wars Universe ! This book has everything you could possibly want to know about in the Star Wars epic! The illustrations are nice, the entries are well written, and the information is accurate and interesting ! This book is a must for all Star Wars fans !!!
Rating: Summary: The best guid to the STAR WARS Galaxy ever!!! Review: The "STAR WARS Encyclopedia" is the most complete guide To date of all things STAR WARS. The only problem I had with it was there was no type of index or table of contence and that made hard to find a few things. But over all it is the best guide out there for true fans or for poeple just discovering the STAR WARS Galaxy
Rating: Summary: Is Darth Vader one name or a first name last name? Review: The one big question that I have is accuracy! The evil Lord Vader is listed as Vader, Datrh. Can that be right?
Rating: Summary: A great information book on star wars! Review: This Book Provided me with all the star wars info I'll ever need to know! It's a great book!
Rating: Summary: concise display of star wars lore Review: Never before have I ever seen a book based on star wars and its subsidary titles that has been as precise and accurate. From the introduction throughout the entire book, I found myself enthralled with the depth and beauty of this book. No, this was not to be a coffee table book. The Star Wars Encyclopedia deserves more then the coffee table. It deserves its own display case for all to look at. The only question is: when will the revised edition be released.
Rating: Summary: It's great!!!! Review: It's a wonderfull book!!! Feels like everything's real! A great source of info about StarWars. You like Star Wars? You must buy this book.
Rating: Summary: Very thorough but way overpriced Review: Who would have imagined 21 years after the initial release of Star Wars that the Force would still be with us. And box office receipts in the hundreds of millions generated by the 1997 re-release of the SW trilogy prove that interest in the series hasn't waned. This tells you everything you always wanted to know about Star Wars but were afraid to ask (or didn't know you should). Sansweet's Encyclopedia is an incredibly detailed A-Z listing of characters, creatures, gadgets, and gizmos gleaned from the films as well as the numerous novels and comic books they've spawned. It also offers a timeline for the entire SW story and an introduction by best-selling novelist Timothy Zahn.
