Summary: Not bad, except for the cover.
Review: All I have to say is, I love Star Wars, it's a great book, but who was sleeping in the editing room when the art for the dust jacket went to print? Perhaps the Michaelis/Carpelis Design Assoc. Inc. company and Brian Dugan failed to reference any of the three movies in the trilogy, or they would've known that Luke Skywalker has NEVER weilded a RED light-saber! Nor has Darth Vader ever battled with a BLUE one! That alone took out a lot of faith in the book. After perusing it for a short while, I do agree it's interesting and in-depth, but in this case, you CAN judge a book by it's cover; especially if it's a book about Star Wars.

Review: The book has a ton of knowledge, no doubt, but who the hell designed the cover a Star Trek fan? No where has Darth Vader Ever been seen with a blue lightsaber and Luke with a red?? The person who made the decision on the cover is the same person who calls them "glow swords" or "light savers". Duh! I can't believe Lucas would approve it. The cover alone makes me question all of the knowledge in the book.

Review: This book has everything, it even has the source of the information. It collectes information from over 50 Star Wars books and movies, plus the card games and tv shows. If you love Star Wars but don't have enough money to get all the books for information just get this one! It is worth the money by far.

Review: Man oh man. This is, as so many before me have called it, THE BIBLE for hardcore SW fans, such as myself. Man, Sansweet has searched almost everywhere and has come up with almost everything you could ever want to know about the SW universe.(I say almost because Mr. Sansweet didn't mention Arvel Crynyd. Anyone who knows Star Wars like it's real life knows that Arvel's the guy who took out the EXECUTOR in the A-wing.)Anyway, besides that one miss, this has GOT to be the best desk reference to Star Wars I've ever seen, and believe me, I've looked. Great great great. Buy it, if the Force is your religion. (It is mine.)
