It gives you a great idea of what to look for if you are a collector and also what value your current items are worth.

Review: This book is very reasonably priced and full of color but I have a bunch of bones to pick. Firstly if you're going to number 23,000 items why not put the numbers in order so when you look at a picture you can actually find the accompanying text? Also, why the author split up the action figure stuff all over the book is a mystery. A quarter of the 384 pages is devoted to Star Wars trading cards of one form or another. I would rather have seen larger pictures of some of the other items than pages and pages of trading cards. Finally I know it is VERY difficult to price these sort of collectibles but at the very least there are certain key things which should be researched. If you were to go by the prices in this book you would be left thinking the entire bottom had fallen out of the Star Wars collecting market. No offense but these prices are just going to cause a bunch of arguments between collectors and dealers (I am the former)... On the bright side it is hard to put a book like this together and I salute the layout person for doing a commendable job of scanning and color correcting so many pics. Also the author gets a silver star for persuading the publisher to do the whole thing in color. All in all not bad value for money but a really good Star Wars collecting book is still out there waiting to be done.

Many of these photos are small, but viewable for reference. Items are easy to locate, and cover movie and character items, cookie jars, puzzles, costumes, action figures, playsets, micromachines and much, much more. A brief discussion of the collectible is included. Prices are year 2002. With the quantity of photos included, and the ease of item location, you're sure to find what you're looking for. A must-have for Star Wars collectors.
