Rating: Summary: Excellent Doctor Who novel/audio guide Review: This is the third volume in Lars Pearson's 'I,Who' series of reference books that provides details and reviews of Doctor Who books and audios. It also covers the Bernice Summerfield spin-offs (Bernice or 'Benny' was a companion in the 7th Doctor range of books published by Virgin in the 1990s). I have zero interest in Benny, so I avoid reading those sections. However, the Doctor Who material makes up the bulk of the book and makes it well worth purchasing. As with Lars' previous volumes, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I don't always agree with the reviews but I can't deny that they are entertaining. Each synopsis is extremely thorough. I always find myself reading about a book I've already read and being reminded of details I missed the first time around or just plain forgot about. This is the only series of books available that provide thorough and entertaining reviews of Doctor Who spin-off stories..and thankfully they are so good that there's no point in anyone else trying to publish similar guides. If you are a serious fan of Doctor Who books and/or audios, then these books are an essential purchase. I hope that we see many more volumes in the future.
