Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Lovin every bit of it! Review: I just wanted to say that even thogh some of the endings in the Dark Elf books ended sadly, it compensates by giving me a world i can escape to when i'm down. I love Drizzt Do'Urden, and hope i see a lot more books come out about him and all his friends. One thing i would like to hear more about is Menzoberranzan and all the dark elves living there, and i would finally like to see Artemis Entreri be defeated once and for all (if this has already happened, please let me know so i can read about it). I must leave with these words: I love these books, and I'm lovin every bit of it!-Quentel Do'Urden~

Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: how frustrating! Review: For people who started the salvatore series late this book is a very frustrating book. Out of all his books which go in an order this one has been out of print for a year or two. It is a major hole in the series! I hate reading before and directly after. Forgotten Realms needs to quit daydreaming and reprint this book. Its ridiculous.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Good action, fun book Review: Some good straightforward action that takes Drizzt back to his "home" in the Icewind Dale area to battle one of his older enemies. Not as sharp and smooth as some of the earlier Drizzt novels, but still a fun and fast read.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: What's so wrong with perfect? Review: Sure, some of the things in Passage to Dawn could have been better, but writing is an art, a creative process, and with most things like that there are always ways to improve. And what is so wrong with Drizzt being nearly perfect? So what if it isn't totally "realistic". That word is subjective. This is fantasy, it obviously ISN'T realistic. I for one would be sorely disappointed if Drizzt strayed from his path. He has faced so many trials and so much pain to get where he is, he deserves to continue down the right path. If his "perfection" grates so one some people's nerves, is it because they are perhaps a bit jealous? I will continue to look forward to the books about this "deserving drow."

Despite mytitle of this summary, I thought the book was great, and one of myfavorite DD books. I liked Harkle's theorums of DD, BB, HH! That wasgood stuff. Well, anyway, I had my hopes very high in this book for Zaknafein. Zak is a god. I was hoping that it was going to be Zak as the slave for the WHOLE book... but then...
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Awesome book Review: This book was a great book however it as salvatores last 3 books were a little rushed in places his first series the Icewind Dale trilogy was by far his best and this can not come close to that but never the less a great book with the reappearance of Errtu my second favorite bad guy in the series and the return of beloved Wulfgar the lvl 30 barbarian berserker with the +10 hammer of god smash =) makes this book a must read if you like this series
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Boring. Review: As much as I liked Salvatore's previous books, I cannot stand this one. The writing is insipid, and the story shallow and predictable. Irritatingly, Salvatore does not spend much time on detail- suggestive of a rush job -and as a result, action is glossed over and realism is compromised. This is one of the worst books I have ever read.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Shut UP! Review: I think this was one of Salvatore's best books. The dramatic story line really is very inspiring and captavating. I can not get over how some of you stupid people think this to be one of Salvator's worst books. For one thing, he brings back one of the greatest characters to the Drizzt's series which is the powerful Wulfgar. Sure it would have been cool for him to bring back Drizzt's daddy from the dead but what would be the point to that. To bring back Wulfgar makes work easier on Salvator to bring us books we all love. Wulfgar rising from the dead automatically makes conflicts in future books like how he coupes with his toutre and how the love triangle turns out.
