Summary: Gotta Have It
Review: This book is definitly one of the best I have ever read. If you have ever seen MST and like the show, this is a must have. It takes you back to the good 'ol days, before Comedy Centeral sold its soul to the devil, er, Sci Fi. It also brings you back to the reign of Joel, Dr. Forester, and (who could forget) TV's frank. Written by the cast, writers, editors, etc., it is sure to please any MSTie-type.

Summary: This is an extremely funny, must-have for MST3K fans.
Review: This book chronicles six of the years of Mystery Science Theater 3000 episodes on Comedy Central, through the eyes of the show's writers. There's tons of information on such classics as "Manos: The Hands of Fate" and "Mitchell", as well as extra features no MSTie could live without. Unfortunately, with the show now in its ninth season, the book is somewhat outdated.

Summary: You can buy this if you want.
Review: I'd have to say that this book is the eqivialant of an extremly good MST episode. Only it doesn't have the boring parts that usually come along with a televison episode. From cover to cover, it is an extremly funny book. But you have to have a MST3K mind to enjoy it. They pick apart and bash every movie in ways not possible on the T.V. show. Kevin, Mike, Paul, Trace, and Pearl take turns addressing the needs of their episodes. They describe the plots of the movies in ways that totally bring out their absoulte cheesyness. I will give you my personal guarentee that you'll be satified with this book if you love it. If you need some encourgement to spend the money on this book, I'll put my vote of confidece in for you that it is a Very good book for any Mystery Sciece Theater 3000 fan.

Summary: Who knew they made an encyclopedia out of it?
Review: Besides having the autographed edition of this book, I've got to say, It's the best thing to come out of MST since the movie in 1996. Enough info to cram your mind!

Summary: A MiSTie without this guide is like...Torgo without knees
Review: If you are any sort of a MSTie then this guide of the earlier episodes should be yours. Very thorough and very good.

Summary: The Indispensible MSTie reference
Review: The MST3K Amazing Colossal Episode Guide, although by now a bit dated, is still a must-buy for any fan of that little old "cowtown puppet show." This book is akin to a travel guide through some of the worst refuge of cinema history, with MST3K the tour bus you stay safely inside and the writing staff your helpful (and funny) drivers. The book covers the Comedy Central years, up until the end of the sixth season, with choice words about the seventh season, the MST3K movie, and the first MST3K convention. Not a single word about the big moveover to Sci-Fi, but that's probably for the best. Enjoy the golden Comedy Central years with this book.

Summary: For Those Lonely Hours In Between Episodes...
Review: When you're a MiSTie (an official fan of MST3K), you treat this book is like a bible. When you need to find out about obscure references made by the silouhettes, what the Best Brains in charge of the show thought of the episodes themselves, or just need to ask, "Why...?" all you need by your side is a copy of the MST Amazing Colossal Episode Guide.

A tasteful insight behind every episode from seasons 1-6, with information behind the KTMA years, the movie, and the near-absent season 7, all drummed up by the minds behind our favorite show.

This book stays true to everything MST3K, and doesn't jerk around with the fans. It makes you laugh while learning about the best show on TV at the same time. Picking up a copy of this book is like watching an episode of the show... you never know where it's going, and when it's done, you wish for more. It truly is the only thing for comfort during those endless hours in between episodes.

Summary: A splendid time is guaranteed for all
Review: Like Wilde, Dickens, and Ebert before them, the funny-makers who write and perform for "Mystery Science Theater 3000" have put all their satiristic talents into this magnum opus of hilarity. While skewing the more horrid horror and science-fiction films of yesterday, the authors enlight and entertain at the same time. A must-read for fans and non-fans of the cult TV show alike. (Was that pretentious enough for ya?

Summary: Amazing Colossal Episode Guide has something for every fan.
Review: The Amazing Colossal Episode Guide is chock full of info about Mystery Science Theater 3000. Whether you're a new viewer of the series or a long-time fan, you will laugh all the way through the MST writer's descriptions of these b-grade movies. TV's Frank's Pix are an added delight to the book as are the tons of rare black and white behind-the-scenes photos which fill up the spaces that aren't covered by text. Maybe next time they'll also include a full-color pull-out centerfold spread of Crow T. Robot
