Summary: WONDERFUL best book so far in the series
Review: this is definatly a great book for anyone who is a fan of the dragonlace series.I personally recomend reading the raistlin chronicals before reading these books, it gives a little history about tanis, kitiara, raistlin, caramon, and the others before kit goes nuts and joins an army for queen takisis. The book soulforge is a good one for anyone who wants to know what happened to raistlin in the tower of high sorcery.
Now back to dragons of winter night: I highly recomend this book for anyone who is a fan of fizban, laurana, tas, sturm, and flint. This book gets really interesting near the end when something suprising happens to our favorite solomic knight when suddenly he d... well you will just have to read and find out what happens to sturm.

Summary: Still amazing!
Review: Weis and Hickman do a wonderful job in bringing to life some of the greatest fantasy characters of all time. Once you start this book, you will not be able to put it down until you finish it. It is highly entertaining filled with the perfect amount of humor, action, suspense, and sadness. I cant say enough about the chronicles series, it is one of my favorite trilogies in all the books that i have ever read. Once i started this series, i couldnt put it down. The first book is amazing, and this one is no exception. You will love the characters, and you will cry when they cry, laugh when they laugh, that is how good it is. Buy it, you will not regret it.

Summary: The dark months are coming!
Review: What a sequel! Only the Empire Strikes Back can compete.

Both sequels are the 2nd act of a 3 act story - only ESB had a happier ending. The ending is foreshadowed several times going back to the 1st book. You knew this one wasn't going to end happy everafter the minute they were forced to split up to save the world. The bond between the characters was so strong you knew seperation was going to come with a heavy price!

Ladies, get some tissues. I'm a guy & the end just killed me.

Summary: Best one of the three...
Review: I'm a sucker for a sad ending, which means I'm usually a sucker for the 2nd book of a trilogy. This one does not dissapoint with its heart rendering conclusion. Expect to shed a tear or two over a beloved character who will go out with a bang. there's also much more to learn about each charachter, they all have their own trials and guilt. Some find out how weak they are and some find out how strong they are. And the dragons keep coming and they have to fight this war and man, the bad guys are really bad! Its fantasy in all its glory. You'll love this one if you liked the first. Enjoy!

Summary: War's about to start, and now ...
Review: ... don't worry, I'm not telling you anything that'll happen next (somobody probably already did), the point is, if you have read "Dragons of Autum Twilight" then you will agree with me that you must not waste any second to get this book and read it as well. If you haven't, what are you waiting for, read that book first, get in love with the story, the adventures, the characters, and then get quickly to this one.

Our main heroes are in the middle of a very complicated situation that is about to lead the continent of Ansalon into war, will they be able to stop it?, if so, at what cost?, in this book you'll see how each one of them develops himself and gets more involved in the story so at the end each and every one of them will have very important actions that will lead to the final result.

I'll never get tired of saying this saga, the whole Chronicles are among the best fantasy novels there could ever be, if you don't believe me go ahead and get the first of the books, I'll guarantee you'll be reading this one as being the second one in the saga in no more than three or four days.

Summary: An excellent fantasy novel in an excellent trilogy.
Review: Although these books aren't as good as Tolkien's "Middle Earth" series or Donaldson's "White Gold Wielder" series, they are very good all the same. The adventure the characters go on is an exciting one. The characters are interesting and likeable. If you're a D&D fan you'll appreciate these stories since they're based heavily on the game. You'll especially appreciate the various monsters that are accurate to the D&D rules (the blue dragon that breathes electricity, etc). I don't have too much else to say but if you like fantasy novels I recommend this highly.

Summary: Fantasy writing at its best
Review: I was fortunate enough to pick this trilogy up in its collector's edition, a couple of years ago. This was the first fantasy book I had ever read and is what hooked me on the genre.

If you have not read this story, you must go out and get the book. Out of the three books there is no singular one that stands out above ther rest. I loved them all.

Summary: The Second Book, the First Chance to Commit
Review: I have read the entirety of the standard Dragonlance "saga" ("Chronicles" plus "Legends") twice through, along with the very important books "Soulforge," and "Dragons of Summer Flame." I think the story of Dragon Lance itself is quite good. The only question is whether it makes up for the generally poor writing and simplistic characters.

If you enjoyed the first book in the saga, you will probably enjoy this one. But bear in mind that the style only gets a bit better (and that is only because Tracy and Margaret have gotten over their "first date" fumbles in the first book). Also keep in mind that if you commit to this book you will essentially be forced to get the third one to complete the tale.

If you have a youngster and are looking for a good gift for him, this is probably a good pick, as the simplistic (and idiotic) characters won't bother him as much.

Summary: and the story continues
Review: The seconed book in series is as good as the first one in the second one the companions are seperated and continue to fight the Dark Queens minions and try to stop her from ruling all of Krynn. Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman our in my opinion the best fantasy writers today so if your looking for a good fanasy series read this series and the rest of the dragonlance books.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Series.
Review: This is a great book in a great series. Perhaps the best fantasy series around. The characters are very well developed. It's hard not to care what happens to them.
