Summary: One word - "Phenomenal"
Review: Absolutely stunning. A comprehensive guide to famous star systems, incidents, and the routes of famous ships and probes. Ever wonder where the Founders home planet was in relation to the wormhole? Ever wonder if Voyager made it to the Beta Quadrant before finding it's way home? Ever wonder where exactly was Bajor, Cardassia, and the Badlands? Ever wonder were Rura Penthe was? Ever wonder where Galorndon Core was? This atlas will give you every single answer in vivid colors and beautiful details. Everything from a view of the Cardassian solar system to planet listings and who they belong to. This is a must have for any fan who has ever asked "I wonder where that is?"

Review: Curious book, lots of map, classification of planets, etc. I expected it to have more info about Archer's Enterprise, who mapped what, where Archer stooped and where Kirk stsrted. Or more info about the relantioship between the Vulcan High Comand and Stargeet, but the book has som 100 pages of maps, based in some stuff that recllad the "cold war" period or ven the North/South Korea stuff. Expcted a more informative book, as an Atlas falls short...hardcore fans may disagree, but there mut be better books...

Summary: Star Trek Star Charts - A Trek fans dream come true!
Review: Finally after years of waiting and wishing for this particular Trek extra to be released, Geoffrey Mandel brings it to fruition. Star Trek Star Charts, from cover to cover has many of the details that fans have been waiting for. The Milky Way Galaxy in all its glory, as it's mapped by the Federation. The stars and planets are typed and explained in all of their details. Most everything that is known about the four quadrants; Alpha, Beta, Delta and Gamma are mapped skillfully and explained in detail.

This wonderful book is worth every last penny for the casual Trek fan and the die hard Trek fan alike. One can see that this can also be extremely helpful to the professional Trek authors and the amateurs wishing to get published in the yearly Strange New Worlds contest. As these Trek extras go, it's best to purchase this one as soon as possible because it will not be long before this is out of publication! {ssintrepid}

Summary: Fantastic...
Review: I have been looking for something like this for a while. For someone who plays Star Trek RPG with friends this is completely indispensable. The detail and richness of this book are fantastic. Almost the entire known universe is available at the end of the book with 4 large foldout maps that fit together if taken out. It features anything that is know, any planet and race and star system that was mentioned anywhere. The print is razor sharp and glossy in high color.
One thing I would have added to this book is a planet and star index with page and coordinates in order to find things easier. Other than that i give it 5 stars anyway.

Review: I have pulled this book off the shelf numerous times since I bought it a few weeks ago usually as a challenge. The game is that I catch a snippet-a planet name or such-on TV or a movie, and quickly look to see if it's in here. I have yet to be disappointed. It's all here. While it would seem short for its steep price, this atlas is worth every penny for the pedantic Trekker who needs everything just right. My only gripe is that I wish there had been more details regarding some of the more important destinations. An index would have been nice to help find some of the more obscure places, too. Regardless, this is great for those who enjoy both the scientific and political aspects of Star Trek. There's something for everyone. Here's hoping there comes an updated edition in the future that features some of the spots Enterprise has visited.

Summary: An Atlas Of Future Treks Into The Last Frontier
Review: I like the fact that this book gives the fans a working atlas of the Star Trek galaxy. It is handsomely illustrated and gives the fans a sense of where planets are located within the Star Trek universe. Another aspect that is noteworthy is that we get to see the borders and boundaries of Federation,Romulan,Klingon,Cardassian, Ferengi, Borg, Dominion areas of space in relationship to each other and the whole Milky Way Galaxy. Geoffrey Mandel along with the Star Trek art department does a really good job on the graphic art from the front of the cover to the back. I especially like the section that gives us a look at a graphic representation of planets with some information on the planets right before each map of a quadrant. So many Alpha Quadrant planets like Earth, Bajor, Cardassia Prime are listed with statistical information and the same goes for the Beta Quadrant with Planets like Vulcan, Romulus, Kronos. Something that is cool is that some planets like Earth and Vulcan are singled out so we get to see how the solar system is set up. The only negative thing about this reference book is that it does not have an easy way to find many notable planets and trying to look for them all is tiring on the eyes.

Summary: Great book for any Star Trek fan
Review: I was impressed with this book. Being a STAR TREK fan for 20 years it caught my attention. First lets go over the bad points of this book.

1)Leaves out Alpha Centauri in the Worlds Section. Wanted to know more about this world as it was a founding member of the UFP.

2)Lacks more pages. I admit 96 pages is great but I was expecting more like 150+. Surely there's enough content out there.

3)Leaves out alot in the Voyager section like worlds visited and woulda liked to know more about the Equinox's travels as well.

4)Leaves out many Star Trek worlds and not enough information on certain worlds like the Breen Confederacy and Tholia. Would like to know more about these guys as they are major players in the Star Trek Universe.

Ok what I liked!!! The pages are glossy. Great information on the founding worlds of the Federation. I loved the section on the description of worlds (e.g. Class M,P,Y,etc.) as this shed alot of light about which world was what class(Even though I knew what a class M was before I read the book). Great maps of all the major powers of the ST:Universe.Also alot of work was put into this book and by far the best ST book out there. Anyway what keeps this from being a 5-star selection is the minor errors and deletions but I'm sure by the time a second edition comes along the problems and errors will be worked out.So if you love ST buy this book you wont be dissapointed... I wasnt!!!
