Summary: The Soulforge
Review: As a Dragonlance fan I found reading this book much like returning home after a long abscence. It was great to catch up, with Raistlin and Caramon as well as the rest of the gang. To fully apreciate the story I think you need to be familiar with Chronicles and Ledgends. Although I enjoyed the book I give it only three stars because the story line is fairly predictable. Maybe it is just me, but I think this book demystified Raistlin too much. I liked knowing little about him that was part of his charm. But still worth a read.

Summary: best book ever
Review: i personaly have read 28 Dragonlance books and this is the best there is. ther are so few books about raistlins youth and most are fairly confusing and not all about raist. But this book writen by his creator is the best.

Summary: The Saga continues with another Margaret Weis masterpiece
Review: I have collected the entire Dragonlance series concerning the War of the Lance. My first read was the Chronicles collection. I, simply put, love Soulforge! It expands upon one of the most colorful, yet mysterious characters...and my personal favorite, Raistlan Majere. It takes you through his journeys as a child learning the arts of the magi, and continues through until the time he takes the test and steps out of his brother's shadow.

Summary: For Raistlin fans everywhere :)
Review: Ok, if you are just getting started in the world of Krynn, or are a weathered traveler, then you will love this book. Since Raistlin is a favorite character of mine, I had to add Soulforge to my growing collection. It helps the reader understand why he is the way he is. It finally reveals what really happened during the test in the Tower of High Sorcery. Basically, it is the long awaited story of Raistlin's life. (Thank you Margaret Weis!) It has much the same feel as the Chronicles or Legends. Almost all of the companions are there, taking you back to the days right before the War of the Lance.

This is a book that could only be written by Margaret Weis. She brought this character to life and has now done a wonderful job of telling his story.

Summary: The greatest Dragonlance book I've read!
Review: The Soulforge is a history of Raistlin's young years until the Test. The characters felt so real, and the story never came to any slow parts. The best part of it was probably what Raistlin did at Belzor's temple, that I cannot tell you! If you ever want to start reading Dragonlance, start with this one! Its even better than Redwall!

Summary: Another masterpiece by Margaret Weis
Review: Since Raitlin is my favorite character in the Dragon Lance series I found this book to be very good. It is very well written and keeps you turning the pages. I recommend this for any Dragon Lance fan. As usual it will leave you waiting for the next installment in the always expanding Dragonlance Saga.

Summary: If you love Raistlin, you will love this book!
Review: Let's just put it like this-- I bought the book yesterday afternoon. Last night, I had finished it. This is some of Weis' finest work. I'm a huge fan of Raistlin and was delighted to see his early years. I'm already over 100 pages into Brothers in Arms :) Get this book, now!

Summary: Great read
Review: Flows well, not action-packed but still a page turner. A nice amount of "inside references" for DLance regulars. Good even for non-DLance readers. I appreciated the accounting for "different versions" of the Test story!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Finally the truth about Raistlin's Test!
Review: I only gave this book four stars because I thought it slowed down in parts. But overall this is still a great book. I'm glad the Dragonlance authors have finally started writing books about the most secretive character in the series. Raistlin Is my favorite character. If you like Raistlin, Caramon, or Kitara, then you should definitly read Brothers in Arms. It is the second book in the Raistlin Chronicles. Brothers in amrs was so good, I give it five stars. Both books are great. I recomnd that you read them as soon as possible!
