Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: a great book Review: I just finshed reading this book today and I must say that it helped me understand a lot more about the AD&D setting and how things work. I'm only an average player and novice DM but I hope to order the other new releases soon.

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Essential book for AD&D Review: This book is great. It's 90% of what you need to play D&D...except the player stat sheets are gone from this version...or was that in the DM's guide? Well I'll find out soon enough because I ordered that too. Anyway, the best thing about this book is that it presents basic guidelines for you to follow for this game and you can adjust it to your imagination.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Essential if you want to be a DM, good to have otherwise. Review: This Dungeon Master's Guide is no different from the old one, but it's much bigger and easier to read. There are also lots of corrections. You don't really need it if you have the old Second Edition one, but I will advise buying it if you have an old, wrecked one or if you're planning to be a DM. It's still good to have if you're just a player, as the magic item tables can come in handy. And I don't know what these "baronies" or whatever are, but as far as I know, the guide has whatever it's supposed to have.

It really made my D&D games Alot better then What it was with the REAL old ones from when it first came out. If you want to see the Creater of D&D go to the Green Dragon near Eerie Pennslvanya. hehehe
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Good but not great Review: I am upset that the players manual said that this book would have info on running baronies and it didn't. This was a big let down but otherwise a great book.
