Rating: Summary: Not as good as Vol 1 and 2 Review: This book was not as good as the first two volumes. There are many mistakes in the book and it centers more along the "entire" plot of the show and not the behind the scenes action like the other books. I wish the same author that compiled Vol 1 and 2 - did the rest of the series.
Rating: Summary: The details were incredible!!! Review: This book was worth every penny! It documented the entire fourth season with such detail, using the exact quotes from the characters throughout the entire book. It also included tidbits of info from the writers, directors, and actors themselves. There was even a list and brief description of each episode from the first, second, and third seasons at the end. I just hope that there's a book just like this one for the fifth season, too.
Rating: Summary: The unofficial guide to The X-Files Vol. 3 Review: This is a very vivid guide to The X-Files in their earlier seasons. I thoroughly enjoyed reading and discovering all the interesting facts that this book had to give. I am a fan of The X-Files and I have watched the show for five years. I think this is a very good literary work. If you like The X-Files, I highly recommend this!
Rating: Summary: WOW Review: This is easily as good as the fifth season one, and I'm annoyed that it is at 4 1/2 stars, while I'm posting. Read it.
Rating: Summary: Excellent resource for X-Philes Review: This latest official guide to one of the top shows on television outdistances the previous books by Brian Lowry because of its in-depth synopsis of each episode of the fourth season....A perfect companion piece to the previous books, the only drawback is the black and white pictures...but the poster included with the book shows a nice history of the first four seasons of the show... This is a good resource for casual fans of the show who may have missed an episode along the way and the rabid fans who watch the show religiously.. Highly recommended for casual and rabid X-Philes alike.
Rating: Summary: A decent buy. Review: This official season guide was a terrific one, except for one little minor detail: there was no conspiracy poster included!!! That was a shocker!! I reckon we here in Oz should have gotten it. Anyway, the season guides were very thorough and wonderful, as were the pictures. I do wish there were some colour photos, but I guess that doesn't matter. Very detailed and worth the money.
