Rating: Summary: absolutely x cellent book Review: i think this book is great, who cares about the black and white pictures??they r still pictures!it is great like the other 2 and i would highly recommend it to all u other x freaks out there who love the show like i do..and if u don't love it like i do...get it anyway!!
Rating: Summary: What a book for X-Philes! Review: I was very excited about the looooong episode summaries. These are great for catching up on episodes you (sadly) may have missed. I'm really glad they added the 5th season premiere so as to add to the continuity. My only complaint: the pictures are black & white! We want to see Mulder's smiling (yeah, right) face in color! Other than that, I highly recommend this book for anybody from the remotely interested to the fanatic like me. Great book!
Rating: Summary: Great for FX fans Review: If you're an x files fan, you will appreciate this book. What I enjoyed was that every episode sypnosis followed the sequence of the television show. What was also great was that it gave background information on every episode.
Rating: Summary: A 4th season X-Travaganza!!! Fantastic Review: In continuing the legacy of great official X-Files guides, I Want To Believe is a gold-mine of facts and thoughts. The book has some of the most comprehensive and lenghtly synopses of every episode during that season, plus Redux and Redux II. Each episode also has a very good back-story at the end, which also often has little side notes (I especially like the one about G.A.'s daughter, Piper and the "Yucky Guys," page 123. The book also has pictures from the show through out, which are more sensibly arranged than the previous two guides, and the whole book is more moody, with some pages printed with a backround of hebrew letters (Kaddish) or a page from Alice in Wonderland (Paper Hearts.) This book is awesome! Its worth every penny. You'll want to believe too by the time you read this book!
Rating: Summary: Great for FX fans Review: It's almost as good as having a detailed script of every episode of this season! The detail that goes into the writing is beyond excellent! I didn't get involved with the X-files from day one, but I caught up by reading these excellent guides, and lots and lots of re-runs!
Rating: Summary: If you missed this season, Just read this BOOK! Review: It's almost as good as having a detailed script of every episode of this season! The detail that goes into the writing is beyond excellent! I didn't get involved with the X-files from day one, but I caught up by reading these excellent guides, and lots and lots of re-runs!
Rating: Summary: Excellent Summary of Season 4 Review: This book does a great job giving *DETAILED* descriptions of each of the episodes from Season 4, as well as the first few episodes of Season 5.
Rating: Summary: Great short description of every episode of The X-Files. Review: This book has about a four to five page summary of every single episode of The X-Files Season 4. Also has the first two episodes of Season 5. Short one paragraph description of the plot for all episodes during the first three seasons. Excellent book; I highly recommend it!
Rating: Summary: You can't call yourself a fan without one Review: This book is great for any fan of the x-files. It not only gives the storyline for each episode, But cool "behind-the scenes" type of info.
Rating: Summary: Interesting, but very poorly edited Review: This book provides extremely interesting summaries and background information for each season four episode of the X-Files, but it has so many typos, grammar, and other mistakes that I wonder why its publication was delayed for six months. It obviously wasn't delayed for any thorough editing of the book.
