Rating: Summary: Go back to hell, Wulfgar. Review: I got all excited upon the return of Wulfgar... and when he finally comes back, he's whiny, stupid and moody. This book reads like a friggin' soap opera! If I wanted that, I could watch daytime TV!I really hope that everybody gets their "stuff" together in the next book (Which I hear is actually more of Wulfgar's whinings) and goes back to the good ole' days like in the Crystal Shard where everybody is fighting against evil critters instead of complaining amongst themselves all the time.
Rating: Summary: One of Salvatore's Best Review: I'm a big fan of R.A. Salvatore's books and this one certainly lived up to all my expectations. It has so many surprising twists and turns that I find myself unable to stop flipping pages. I can't wait to read all his next works.
Rating: Summary: GOOD BUT NOT GOOD ENAUGH !! Review: As many have pointed out this book lacks many things that the former did such as a good plot and NEW THINGS. Ive only started reading Salvatore novels a short time ago and Ive loved every one bad and good, yet I must sadly say that the plots are getting thinner, the characters more tedius and the same things always being talked about. We the fans need something new for the characters. I am waiting for spine of the world with great anticipationyet I must admit that Wulfgar isnt the most interesting character in the Salvatore books, frankly hes a bit dull although I like the new twist in him being a drunk bully but Salvatore could have written a book about someone a bit more interesting, like Jarlaxle, Entreri or ewen Bruenor. And I would like to see more Drow books like something about the beginning of Menzoberranzan. I am very proud of my Salvatore collection wich includes all the books some in hardcover and they I also own in paperback and my collector books namely the Dark Elven trilogy and The Cleric Quintet.
Rating: Summary: THE SILENT DUD......MOST OF THE BOOK IS ABOUT WULFGAR Review: THIS BOOK HAS A LOT OF WORDS....BUT SAYS NOTHING
Rating: Summary: WHO IS THE VICTIM HERE? Review: I WOULD SAY THAT DRIZZT'S CHARACTER IS VICTIMIZED BY THIS BOOK, BUT THEN I THINK OF HOW MUCH MONEY I PAID FOR THIS NOVEL, AND I REALIZE WHO THE REAL VICTIM WAS!
Rating: Summary: YET ANOTHER CHEAP MARKETING PLOY Review: THE ABOVE LINE SAYS IT AL
Rating: Summary: Not bad - not the best in the series Review: This novel seems to focus more on the issues of Wulfgar and Artemis Entreri than it does on Drizzt, which is rather disappointing - Drizzt is one of the coolest characters of all time. But, on that note, Artemis Entreri is a very interesting character himself. This book is certainly worth while to Drizzt fans, and the battle sequence at the end was pretty intense. An all around good read, if you ask me.
Rating: Summary: salvatore's best yet! Review: I have read every single r.a. salvatore book about Drizzt Do'Urden and I've gotta say this book is the best yet. Though I do agree with other readers that the "companions of the hall" need some new adventures. I love salvatores books he is my favorite author but passage to dawn wasn't that good. But r.a. really came back hard with this book! It just like the first novel he wrote. full of action and intrigue. I can't wait for the spine of the world to come out!
Rating: Summary: Reader Review: I think that everyone that didn't like this book is a raving lune! Keep it coming Salvatore!
Rating: Summary: ENTRERI VS DRIZZT? AGAIN? FOR THE 5TH TIME? Review: ENTERI IS LIKE THE ENERGIZER BUNNY...HE KEEPS COMING..AND COMING...AND FAILING..AND DYING..AND COMING THIS BOOK SUCKED! THE PLOT WOULD SUCK TOO IF IT HAD HAD ONE.. RA, GIVE IT UP!
