Summary: Thank you all.
Review: I'm glad to see so many interested readers. I wish I could shed some more light on the upcoming book, but it will be here soon enough. Thanks to all those who reviewed it. Also i found some of your comments... how should i say, interesting (and some damn near psychic :). Hope you all enjoy, who knows how many more of these there will be.

Summary: I believe Errtu will somehow be in this next book .
Review: If people were to actually read some of Salvatores other books (such as The Demon Awakens) then they would have read a part of the The Silent Blade. In it Wulfgar is going crazy 'cause Errtu's screwing with his head. As for all of you that believe that Drizzt will die in this book, remember that Errtu is thirsty for Drizzt's blood. And remember that Errtu wasn't easily defeated in Passage to Dawn.

Summary: Drizzt dies...? Fans lost?
Review: Well from the guesses and rumors I've heard, I believe that Mr. Salvatore might lose some fans. I know that if Drizzt dies, I'll be very unhappy, you just can't kill him off, ya know? I was devistated when I thought that Wulf-gar was dead, but he was brought back. You can't kill Drizzt, that's why so many people read Salvatores' novels, is because of Drizzt mostly. Sure Mr. Salvatore is an awesome writer, but if he killed Drizzt, then I really do believe that he will lose some fans, or have fans upset about his decision about it.

That's just my opinion tho.

Summary: Quit whining that Artemis Entreri is 'back'!
Review: I have read several of the above "reviews" (as the book hasn't even hit the shelves, the 'experts' have already given their insights on this soon-to-be bestseller) and all I can say is this: Quit whining that Artemis Entreri is 'back!' He is no more 'back' then Cattie Brie, Breunor, Regis, especially Wulfgar, or Drizzt himself. Salvatore has created incredible characters in these Forgotten Realms novels, and like any good series, the epitomization of good (Drizzt) and evil (Entreri) have become the proverbial "rock and hard place" as neither one has been able to totally conquer the other! I argue that Artemis Entreri is not back for the Silent Blade; rather, he has never gone anywhere. He is as important a character as Regis, Jarlaxle, Drizzt, or any of the other main heroes in these books. That is a reflections of Salvatore's writing skill and insight. Long live the story, Bob Salvatore!

Summary: New character in Drizzt series?
Review: I have been an avid fan of RAS since my brother introduced me to the Drizzt series years ago. Having read all the Drizzt books to date, I am anxiously awaiting his newest "The silent Blade". I'm not sure if it's possible, but there's another renegade drow character I believe would be an interesting addition to any new Drizzt books. Could RAS introduce Liriel Baenre of "Daughter of the Drow" into the Drizzt saga? She would prove, in my opinion, to be another captivating figure. What do you think Mr. Salvatore?

Summary: Death of Drizzit?
Review: I've heard from a very good source that Drizzit was going to die in this new book. Can't wait until it comes out and see exactly how he dies. But, regardless this series has been a great experience! Wish Drizzit didn't die though.

Summary: Salvatore does it yet again...and again...and again
Review: With The Silent Blade Bob continues on with his amazing twisting and turning stories. Drizzt is, along with Cadderly, one of the most beloved characters to grace the pages of literature. Drizzt dies? Maybe, maybe not, but Artemis is getting a bit tiring. Another great one Bob!

Summary: This will be an excellent book by an excellent author!!
Review: I have not yet read this book, but wanted to give my 2 cents anyway. I think that this book will be awesome, packed with action and adventure that only Salvatore could ever write. If another author would have taken Drizzt's reins, then TSR would have lost a big fan of his. I think Entreri is awesome and am glad to see his return, maybe this time will be the last though. Also, in response to people thinking that Drizzt will die in this book.....it just isn't true. I e-mailed Salvatore himself and asked him what was going to happen to Drizzt. He told me that Drizzt will not die in this book and that he has signed a contract with WotC/TSR to write at least 3 more books with Drizzt and friends. That's all I have to say, so thanks for listening to me.

Summary: Entreri is back again... and again... and again...
Review: He's the assassin that just kept on going. Like the Energizer bunny, he seems to go on forever, never stopping, never relenting, until he can get just one (or ten) more chances to kill our favorite Drow Ranger. Or maybe he just wants a few more of Regis' fingers for a new necklace.

So what does this mean? I'm not willing to pre-judge the book, as I generally like Salvatore's works. But I don't like Entreri. IMO, he's had his chance, and should have died long ago.

So I'll give this one the same chance I give all books by "The Bob".
