Summary: my 2 cents on a PRICELESS book saga
Review: this has to be the best book i have ever read, the chaterters are amazing, a great book for anyone 12 and up, i still cant put these books down, the lord of the rings isnt worth the big screen, this is someing that will take you away from the world to a place where darkness has come back to haunt the land...

it is the story of 8 friends, more will come, some will die. the only thing that keeps the queen of darkness from takeing over the world is tanis and his closest of close friends, filled with action, spells, humor from a little one named tas, read this!

Summary: Dragonlance Chronicles Trilogy
Review: This is an excellent epic of good vs. evil. The characters have depth and excellent development. The plot has many turns. Overall, it is one of the best, if not the best, fiction/fantasy series I have ever read! A MUST HAVE for any fantasy reader of the Midieval fantasy genre.

Summary: A Great RIp-off
Review: This is one of those rare cases where a book that...let's say "borrows heavily" from another book turns out well. A lot of the races, characters, and plots in Dragonlance are "borrowed" directly from The Lord of the Rings. Examples are as follows; 1) The White wizard Fizban is killed but appears alive again in the second book 2)Takesis, the Dark Lady, wants to return to the world after being defeated iin a past fight but is currently unable to manifest her body 3) The Draconians (Takesis' henchmen) Wear black robes to disguise them selves 4) Kenders, a race suprisingly like Hobbits in their size and innocence 5)The elves in Dragonlance are so similar to the Elves ofmiddle Earth that the two races could intermingle and noone would be the wiser. Any of that sound familiar? The list could go on for pages, but that being said, these are well written books and the main characters are (mostly) original and quite endearing. The plot is also original for the most part. If the authors hadn't borrowed so much from LOTR these books woulf earn five stars, but as it is they get four only

Summary: Excellent Trilogy
Review: This trilogy is excellent. Though it is very similar The Lord of the Rings trilogy it manages to maintain a very unique plot and character list. I especially like the fact that in this book if someone isn't bad/evil it doesn't mean they are good either (Raistlin, a magician in this book, is a good example). The second book is the best out of the trilogy. The very end of the last book gets a little cheesy. I recommend reading it, the story is very captivating.

Summary: Starting to read fantasy? This is It!!!
Review: This trilogy is the starting point of Dragonlance. Ansalon, a continent ravaged by years of desollation and petty wars finally has a chance a winning back the favor of the gods.

These novels tell the tale of a Party of friends, that destiny brings together, so that they can once again discover the true gods of the long lost past.

This trilogy sets the atmosphere for some of the most thought capturing books ever. Buy them and read them, I promise you won't be dissappointed.

Summary: Unmatched fantasy trilogy
Review: This was the first fantasy books I ever read. Not only did they become my favorite books overall, but they caused Dragonlance to make a fortune off of me. I have read fantasy books by many different authors including Niles, Salvatore, and of course Tolkien, but this trilogy tops them all. Not only are all of the characters interesting, they also have a great deal of depth. Combine this with a brilliant storyline, expertly timed action, and a perfect balance between mystery and excitement; you are left with a trilogy you truely can't put down.
