Summary: Learn where the infamous Drizzt came from in one large book
Review: This was the very first forgotten realms book i ever bought. At this time in my life, I had no idea what forgotten realms even was. But the cover looked cool. So I picked it up.Now I am finding myself in line early in the mornings of the release's of Salvatores newest Drizzt novels. Wonderful, frightening, and fast paced. I loved all three books, and it is great to have them all in one large edition.

Summary: fantasy lovers won't be dissapointed
Review: Salvatore gets down to business quick. He won't bore you endless description or chatty, unnecessary dialogue. Drizzt is a well thought out, complex character to whom you can sympathize with (if you can't connect with a character at some level then the story is lost). Fans of Dungeons and Dragons or Weiss and Hickmans Dragonlance series will find this trilogy captivating.

Summary: Dark Elf Trilogy
Review: Wow. This has got to be one of the best fantasy stories I have ever read, and it's only the beginning of Drizzt's adventures! Being a heavy Tolkien reader, I have very high expectations for these kinds of stories, and this one totally blew me away! Salvatore is an incredible author. He brings Drizzt to life with such magic, and when I read about his on-going dilema with his principles in such a chaotic world I get that "tingly" feeling inside...Absolutely incredible...Pick this one up as soon as possible. And Salvatore, keep Drizzt goin'!!

Summary: Classic fantasy a benchmark that all others will be measured
Review: I was an avid and fairlyy exclusively sci-fi reader but Tolkein and Salvatore were responsible for dragging me into the fantasy realm. Well worth reading, even better if you play any of the computer games associated with the genre.

Summary: Greatest Trilogy I've Ever Read
Review: I bought this book hoping to find a great fantasy adventure i had been looking for. I have read the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and I loved those books. Since I read those I was looking for a new fantasy story to read. I remember a few years ago when i saw R. A. Salvatore at a book signing. I remember him talking about Drizzt and the series. Since that singing I have seen his books in many book stores and figured I would pick one up. I read the first book in 2 weeks. The Second in 2 weeks as well and book 3 in a week. I loved these books and the characters. I couldnt put them down. I may have read only 2 books that i found better than this. The best book was the first one homeland but the other 2 are great as well.
