Review: This is a lot like other walkthroughs that I have used before, it is easy to go through and understand and makes it extremely beneficial for a player to have. It may not be the best for the first time playing through the game because of some of the spoilers that it has throughout (mainly screen caps of the anime sceens), but I would highly recomend it to anyone

Summary: A great strategy guide for a great game
Review: This is a very good strat guide. It's very long and it helps you when you get stuck. The good thing is that it doesn't really reveal the whole story. All in all, I thought the book was great and it proved to be a great resource for whenever I had trouble in the game. The only downside is that it costs a lot of money. I don't see why strat. guides have to cost so much... but overall, it was worth it.

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST GUIDES I HAVE SEEN, BUT MISSES A FEW THINGS.
Review: This is it folks, the best of the best. If you need to find a guide for "Xenogears" this is the one to buy. The area descrptions, while at times confusing, were excellent. If they seem to hard, chalk it up to the fact that this is a somewhat difficult game. The best aspects are, the extremely detailed boss fight descriptions, the item lists, the combo list, and the fact that they tell you enough of the plot to get you interested but that they leave enough hidden so the game is not spoiled. The back index is full of all the best secrets in the game. I gave the guide four stars because it does miss some things that are very helpful and interesting. For instance, at the point of the game where it is possible to go below the lighthouse on the western island, the guide does not say where the entrance is to an area that sparks an interesting plot turn and a new form for Emerelda. However the guide is one of the all around best I have ever used. It came in very handy for me and should for you!

Review: This is one of the worst guide I've ever seen. First of all there aren't any maps. Maps are essential for a strategy guide if you ask me. Especially for a game as large as Xenogears. Even with the "directions" in the walkthrough given, you'll end up in the wrong place. You'd have better luck stumbling around a dungeon at random than trying to rely on the information this guide provides. To add insult to injury, more than half of the information in the beastiary is wrong. I really can't recommend this guide at all. Only get it if you simply must have everything Xenogears. Relying on this guide to beat the game will give you more frustration than it's worth.

Review: This strategy guide is one of the best by far. It goes in-depth about all the aspects of the game with nothing left out. It gives all the deathblows, gear parts, items, accessories, and more. A definite buy for the Xenogears fan. It really helps too. Trust me. I beat the game. And the strategy guide helps immensely. Buy it if you are a Xenogears fan.

Summary: my rating for the xenogears stratgey guide. please read.
Review: WARNING: do not turn to page 174- 178 without covering up 175 and 176 becuase it shows the ending. i find this a good book if you need help or have xenogears. some people say it is a little vague. ex. go southwest to the end then turn west and into the next area. it refers to the compass and i found it better than go down the hall till..... the ff7 maps are better. it tells you all the creatures you'l face in the area. it has a monster guide but it doesn't tell you weaknesses or where you encounter them. it also doesn't tell you where to find items. but all in all i would recomend this strategy guide to anyone that has the game.

Review: Xenogears is my favorite game of all time, and this players guide is great too. This is what all strategy guides should be like. It doesn't tell you anything that happens in the plot, give you directions to follow the compass, not loads of maps to follow, and tells you what level you should be at the area. Just great!

Review: Xenogears, first of all, is an excellent game which I recommend to everyone. This strategy guide is mainly for those who don't exactly understand everything about RPGs. It has a step-by-step method that makes maps almost unnecessary, and I think if you're planning on buying a Xenogears strategy guide, this is the one for you.
