Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Cookie cutter Space Marine action
Review: Black and white graphic novel from Games Workshop.
The artwork varied somewhat. Some of it was drawn
in a very rough fashion that seemed determined to
fill as much space as possible in the frames,
and others with much cleaner, crisper lines with
some intricate shading.

I was hoping for something more in the stories but
for the most part, this graphic novel is fairly generic.
The 1st story is of a Ravenwing space marines squad as
they tackle orcs and their gargant.
The 2nd story is about the Dark Angels assaulting a space
hulk in search of the "secret" renegade Dark Angels that
the imperium is not supposed to know about.
The 3rd story is of an Eldar warrior vs a Chaos dreadnaught.
The 4th is about an Ultramarines force attempting to destroy
a tyrannid infested ship.
The only story i actually enjoyed was the 5th one about
a space marine scout and his actions in the field.
This was more than the typically mindless "blast them all"
space marine story.
The 5th story involved the Ultramarines as they try to destroy
a Chaos space hulk.
And the last story involves a stranded imperial guardsman
and the 2 space marines that he meets.

Overall, a decent collection of stories.
Solid 3 out of 5.
