Summary: Batman Forever was based on these stories....
Review: Like the 1995 movie, These early Batman stories that were done by both Bob Caine and writer Bill Finger showcase the early apperances of Two Face and the Riddler. The world of Batman as envisioned by Bob Caine was really a fairly light story with moments of darkness and drama here and there. Kind of the way they did Batman Forever in 1995. I think Bob Caine and all the Golden and Silver age writers and artists did "true" Batman stories, where as the over-rated Frank Miller destroyed the character.

Summary: a good read.
Review: this book features two-face's first apperence, 3 riddler stories, a "secret origin" story featuring the penguins origin, the riddler's veiw, and another two-face story, also the great origin of two-face! great book! also a index of thier apperences up to 1995. riddler's refernce to the 60s tv show villans is classic.
the reason it gets only four stars is because it should have been alot bigger.

heros: batman, james gordan, robin.

villans: two-face, riddler, catwoman {mentioned,} Scarecrow {mentioned,} joker, penguin, mad hatter {mentioned.}

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good Collection
Review: This collection of classic Batman stories focusing on the Riddler and Two Face is a nice addition to any Bat collector's library. It features the 1st appearances of the 2 villians. Also 2 1960 Riddler adventures. My only critisism is the other Two Face stories are too current both published in the '90's. Solid book and well worth the money.
