Summary: D-N-Angel Volmes 1,2, &3
Review: D.N Angel is captivating, leaving you to keep reading until the end. Overall, I'd say that D.N Angel isn't bad, but it isn't the best either. It has an interesting plot, that the author could do a lot with, but she doesn't really (at least not in this volume).

In this volume you meet Daisuke Niwa who, on his fourteenth birthday, finds out he has to bear the family "curse" like his fore fathers. The curse is that whenever he sees his one and only love, he changes into Dark, an art theif. It's interesting and sometimes funny, but the author keeps making him change in and then back out countless times and it gets kind of old.

I haven't lost faith in this manga so I think I'll keep reading the whole series. I've heard it gets better.

Summary: What a story!
Review: D.N. Angel is fantastic! It is such a great story, about a boy called Daisuke Niwa. He is in love with a girl in his class called Risa. On his 14 years old birthday something begins happining. Yukiru Sugisaki (the writer and drawer) has don such a great job with this manga. I recommend this manga for everyone, who likes story's about love, mistery and hope. I love this manga very much, and I think you will too. :)

Summary: COOLNESS!!!!!!!
Review: I picked up the first two manga about 2 months ago and fell in love immediately. It's a wonderfully written and illustrated series that's funny and serious and absolutely fantastic. Of course, it helps that Dark, Daisuke's other personality, is hot.

Any lover of series such as Furuba (Fruits Basket), Escaflowne, Magic Knights Rayearth, CCS, etc., would love this series.

Summary: i wish he was real.....
Review: So! DN Angel is about Daisuke, an eigth grader (just turned fourteen) who can't seem to have his love requited. Feeling rejected, Daisuke returns home only to realize: 'I love her!'. Shortly after, he transforms into Phantom Thief Dark. Turns out that Dark is in his family genes- and he has to have his love returned to make Dark go away. But in the meantime, whenever Daisuke see's his crush- Risa- he transforms into Dark. The only way to turn Dark back into Daisuke is to have Dark's DNA react to love as well... to Risa's twin sister, Riku!

In my opinion, this book was great! The first volume is mostly the foundation to the story, but some important things happen. What with interfering, violent, genius, and desireable classmates, perhaps more than art will be stolen. I highly suggest reading it!

Summary: A great book for just about everyone.
Review: This is quite possibly my favorite manga (Japanese comic book) to date. It's about Daisuke Niwa, a boy who, on his 14th birthday, gives a love note to his crush, Risa Harada. Risa rejects him (kindly), and he goes on the rest of the day a bit sad. But then, when he gets home and thinks about Risa, he turns into Dark, a legendary master theif with a crush on Riku, Risa's twin sister! So, Daisuke has to go around, stealing pieces of artwork and trying not to turn into Dark again. To make it worse, one of the other kids from school is a police officer out to put Dark in jail!

It's a great, soap-opera like story with a little fantasy mixed in, and the artwork is amazing. It's also got quite a few funny scenes, mostly involving Daisuke's wacky friends. It's mostly meant for girls, but a few guys might like it too.

Just a note, it's a "PG-13" book.

Summary: Excellent
Review: This manga is excellent all the way through. Though it is made for a younger readers I still very much enjoyed it. Daisuke is a very lovable character (I really enjoy the type of characters that grow on people.)The art is well done and it has many elements to it, romance, comedy, fantasy, and a bit of mystery to it. If you do read it and enjoy it, you should look out for the anime that comes out November 9, 2004. I would also recommend: Tsubasa, Hana Kimi, Alice 19th, and Juvenile Orion.
