Rating: Summary: gotta love it Review: All I have to say is if you love Anime you will love this series. The graphics are wonderful. The stories are great. It has good humor with a touch of romance and horror. I could read these books over and over again for hours. I'm not just saying this about vol 3 either. All I have read so far are wonderful. But a slight warning, these things are so addictive.
Rating: Summary: Inu-Yasha + Kagome = Stunning action/comedy/romance! Review: I am an avid anime/manga fan (of Magic Knight Rayearth, Inu-Yasha, DBZ, Bishojo Senshi Sailor Moon, and Ah! Megami-sama), and I have been reading manga for around a year now. My mom bought me Inu-Yasha volume 1 for Christmas, and since then I couldn't stop reading it. All four books are stunning, and this series ALMOST makes me laugh out loud as much as the Ah! Megami-sama mangas do. First of all, when I try to explain why this story is so unbelieveably fantastic, two names say it all: Higurashi Kagome and Inu-Yasha. I mean, what other story have you read about that has such a hysterically funny yet very serious couple such as this one? Takahashi Rumiko has really outdone herself by creating these two, with their out-of-the-blue reluctantly romantic moments (as frequently seen in Book 4) and their heartstopping rescues. No other manga couple has ceased to amaze me as much as these two. All in all, Takahashi's combination of gothic, bloody horror and side-splitting comedy/romance really takes most of the cake when it comes to a fantastic manga. I commend you, Takahashi Rumiko! And the members of CLAMP, and Fugishima Kosuke, and Toryama Akira, and Takeuchi Naoko. MKR, DBZ, SM, IY, and A!MS RUUULE!
Rating: Summary: wonderful series Review: I love each of the books in this series. I'm a fan of all of the other things I've seen by Rumiko Takahashi, and this series is definitely no exception. In each book there's a serious plot combined with just the right amount of humor. This series isn't quite as silly as Ranma 1/2 (I always get strange looks when I try to explain that one to anyone I know). In this book, Inu-yasha and Kagome meet Nobunaga, a young man who wishes to save a princess in trouble. The three of them end up having to battle the demon that has possessed the princess' husband and is devouring the souls of young women. In the second half of the book, Kagome has decided she needs to go back to her time in order to study for exams. However, demons exist even there, and this one has a shard of the Shikon Jewel. I think this is the first book that includes a little of the incredibly gullible Hojo, and there are hints of a possible romance between Kagome and Inu-yasha. Of course, knowing Rumiko Takahashi, that romance will be very very far in the future, but it's still fun to read about and very cute. I would recommend reading this series in order, or you might become very confused. This is definitely a worthwhile read.

Rating: Summary: Inu-Yasha: Quite Possibly Rumiko Takahashi's COOLEST Series! Review: Inu-Yasha is a wonderful series! It's got a more serious tone to it, not unlike the Mermaid sagas. Kagome is definitely an amazing girl, and she's not your run-of-the-mill magical girl! She's got guts, and she can really kick some butt when she wants to! Shippo is my favorite character because he's just s'dang CUTE! Miroku is a close second. If any of you out there like Rumiko Takahashi, you MUST read Inu-Yasha! I love it so much, I read translations from SHONEN SUNDAY every week! ^^ Also, this storyline has a little romance to it! What am I talking about? Buy the book! O_O!!! You'll love it!
Rating: Summary: A Japanese school girl is transported into Japan's past. Review: Kagome, a japanese schoolgirl is transported into Japan's past with a magical crystal that gives power to demons. The half-demon, Inu-Yasha, is bound to her by a spell and must help her when she is in trouble. The two fight alot, but true love can be seen.
Rating: Summary: Rumiko has done it again! Review: Rumiko has certainly done it again with Vol. 3. I love every minute of this book. I was practically on the floor laughing. It is hilarious. Yet, it still has the action we all love. Believe me, this book is awesome. This is thee best book series I have EVER seen. You'll love this book. It's great!
