Summary: One of the BEST: MANGA in all it's glory
Review: After being literally resurrected by Professor Daisuke, Alita (Gally) discovers there is more to her than there seems to be. She seems to have fighting abilities unknown to her, but that arrive at all the right times. The story line is beautiful and the art is just as good. If you already read MANGA or are just a beginner, this is the best series to begin with. Battle Angel Alita will keep you wanting more after each book, one of the best series out. A MUST!!

Summary: "Great Storyline and Art" "A page turner"
Review: The book was excellent. It had great action and drama as well as some comedy along they way. It is a 5 star story but the binding isn't the greatest on it and most of pages will start falling or at least on the copy I got they did. Battle Angel Alita I feel also is good for tose of you who have to read but don't like yeah you know who you the kind only like comics and magazines I recommend cause I'm the sameway but because of them being called graphic novels your allowed to read them for school for +++ on my list!

Summary: amazing artistry
Review: In this series, yukito kishiro creates a tangible and fascinating world that will leave you totally blown away. The meticulous attention to detail in his artwork is amazing, and the plot twists are multi-dementional and very engaging. This is by far my favorite series of graphic novels.

Review: in this epic tale, Alita(actually I prefer her origional name: "Gally") rises from the masses of scrapyard with the help of a brilliant man, Ido. Gally, learns of Ido's secret night life as a "hunter-warrior". she then decides to become one herself. in doing this, she begins to find little tidbits of her forgotten past, showing in her dreams and actions. kishiro has me begging for more. his tale has left me with a new outlook of life and death. I very highly recomend this manga to anyone who can handle non-stop action, futureistic plots, and a heart-felt story.

Summary: Science Fiction in its BEST form: MANGA!
Review: A three hundred year-old android awakens to find herself in a strange new world with no memmory of her past life. All she has now is a curious young Professor Daisuke, the man responsible for awakening Alita from her sleep. After discovering Daisuke is a bounty hunter, Alita takes it upon herself to help her dear friend and become a bounty hunter HERSELF. Unbeknownst to herself and Daisuke, Alita posseses an unfathomable power; the deadly martial art the Panzer Kunst.

You just HAVE to read this manga! Yukito Kishiro creates a pituresque beauty, trapped in a metal body and master of the most deadly martial art ever. Alita is a simple MUST HAVE.

Summary: Battle Angel Alita's story-line and art will blow you away!
Review: The minute I picked up Battle Angel Alita I fell in love with it. I went to find all the back issues and continued to collect the following issues. In the first series of Battle Angel Alita, Alita was found in the scrapyard by Dr. Daisuke Ido, a cyber-phisician, who proceeds to reconstruct Alita's body. Ido wants her to grow up into something beautiful, untouched and unsullied. Unfortunately, Alita's path is ultimately different from what her "father" (Ido) wants for her. Alita's past and her future are unknown to her, and so, she follows her heart and to where ever her destiny takes her.

Summary: Help! I am addicted
Review: I have not read alot of graphic novels not to mention to buy them. Now I start collecting all the copies of Alita. The drawing is well drawn and the characters are well developed. Kind of violent but the plot can be a real twist. It's cool.

Summary: A glimpse into life past the apocalypse.
Review: This is one of the best manga series that I have read. For Alita, life remains undefined. She has no memory of her past, and she doesn't know who she was or is. Adding to it all, the scrapyard is a bleak and crime ridden city. Alita decides to become a bounty hunter, searching for herself through battle...
