Rating: Summary: Gundam Wing Review: Gundam Wing #1 introduces us to the lives of five very different teenagers as well as other characters, which will prove to be very important to the plot along the line. Each of the teenagers seems to act differently to everything, such as the psychotic Heero Yuy, and that's not even his real name. Gundam Wing may seem like a mindless mecha manga, but there's more than meets the eye in this book. For example, there is a strong political message within this book, but you'll have to buy this book to find out more about the harsh political issues within this book. Gundam Wing also shows us a future where protection is "assimilation." A very beautifully drawn and developed manga, Gundam Wing #1 should please you very much. Not to mention, the hysterical comics at the end, which mixes Gundam Wing and another gundam show, G Gundam.
Rating: Summary: Gundam Wing... Does it again... (I Think) Review: First off, this was a great book! I loved it, and it was very helpful in pointing out things about the series, the the Mobile Suits names. Things that I had missed when I watched the Gundam Wing series. I do, love the drawings they're very well done. As for the plot, it is somewhat different from the Gundam Wing Series, but either way, it's very good. I recommend this book to anyone who loves Gundam Wing or who just wants something good to read!
Rating: Summary: Ugh... must... watch.... on .... TV...... Review: Hohh boy. There are alot of things wrong with this book. Its very small in size. It's drawn VERY POORLY. The pacing, panel divsions, and flow of the stroy are all disjointed and muddled. I can't believe such a great anime series can be reduced to this! STAY AWAY! If you want to see Gundam Wing the way it was meant to be seen, then buy the anime series. If you want a badly drawn, illegiable, and confusing comic then get this.
Rating: Summary: Suicidal Heero is a Happy Heero! Review: Very cool magna book. I loved the special Domon Wing at the end of the book. Although it moved alot faster than the series at cut out alot as well, it was still worth it. If you love Gundam Wing, you'll love this book. (If your a fanatic like me you will anyway). I've already reserved the second book because I liked the first one. A definite buy.
Rating: Summary: I'm not so sure Review: I don't like the way manga makes me look ludicrous (goofy), though Relena does. Otherwise, it's very good. I like the drawing style and the story line a lot. Have you ever read the GW manga, Episode Zero? If you haven't then you gotta! I recommend getting ALL of these mangas! So, preorder the ones that aren't released. If you don't, you'll be sorry.
Rating: Summary: Best Gundam BooK sO far Review: By far the best Gundam book/comic I have ever read. it's deafenately better then alot of Dragon ball z comics I have seen. The Mix of a compelling story and the Amazing anime ( Death scyhthe and HeavyArms were drawn Superbly) make the perfect combo for the perfect book! By the time I was done reading it I wanted more so bad I orderd #2 for reserve. Belive me this book is defenately worth the effort. The Doman wing in the back makes Heero like more humorus then he seems. Read it you'll see what I mean!
Rating: Summary: *YaY* Gundam Rocks! Review: This book was really good! If you like the show, then you'll like the book. It's a little different from the show though, 'cause it goes faster, but there are parts in the book that aren't in the show, and there are someparts that are in both, but changed a little. But it's still good! those things don't make it bad, they make it good! *GriN* i'm not confusing you, am i?
Rating: Summary: Good Good Good!(Awesome) Review: I love this book. Period. If you are a fan of GW, the TV show, you will love it, to. It moves quite a bit faster than the series, but that's okay. Some scenes are changed, but I think it's for the better. I have to comment on the Domon chibi comics in the back. They were hilarious(especially Wufei's blooper of the month). They also made everyone seem more insane than they really are. Over all, I give this book a 6 star rating.
Rating: Summary: fast reading Review: gundam wing is a spectacular series, if you've seen the show, buy the book. One thing that really annoyed me was how fast the plot went. I own many of the episodes, and with the book read, the first 20 episodes of the series are crammed into that one book. sometimes you have to re-read the plot, it's great to compare the two, you find that a part in the beginning of the book comes much later in the series, or vise versa, but you get the point, nevertheless, I'm extremely obsessed with owning the next book....
Rating: Summary: I love this book! This is a good book for anime fans! Review: Being a fan of anime in general, this is a very good book to add to an anime collection. But a warning: If you have the regular comic books #1-4 remember that those are the stories that this novel contains. All in all a really good book for anime fans, Gundam wing fans, and those new to both worlds!
