Rating: Summary: One of the finest stories ever written... Review: This graphic novel changed my life. Quite literally it saved it. It showed me that some day everyone finds something so worth living for that they could return from the dead to preserve it's memory and avenge it's loss...
Rating: Summary: it is so much bull Review: i dont like it because it isnt true it is just a made up story

Rating: Summary: THE CROW, the best books bring the best movies Review: The Crow was a great book and i would recomend it to the average reader. The Crow the movie was inspireed by james O'barrs graphic tale of a man who returns from the dead to avenge the murder of the women he loved.Brandon lee died tradgically on the set of the motion picture but his portrayal of eric draven was magnifisent.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic expression of pain and sorrow. Review: I only give this book a 4 because I do not believe in perfection (5 stars). There is always room to improve, otherwise life would be cheapened. This book comes close as you can get to perfection. I think the blend of love and poetry help to even out the violent theme's contained within the pages. O'Barr's self counseling creation has helped to shed a different light on pain and sorrow. Also, death is shown not to be the end all, but the begining...
Rating: Summary: Awesome book...poetry, and art... Review: I love this book for the poetry and art in it. There is just so much to look at, you catch something new every time.
Rating: Summary: Beyond Words. Review: When this comic originally came out in late 1989, I was one of the few people I knew that bought it. Many friends of mine thought I was crazy to have bought a comic -no one- had heard of. Little did they know that 5 short years later, EVERYONE would know the name of the comic and its author, James O'Barr. The comic has yet to see an equal, at least in my opinion, and has enthralled thousands upon thousands of people with its violent, yet simple message. True love can not be stopped or erased. Love lives on, regardless of whether the people who have that love live. Having read this series (all 4 of the original prints and the fifth in graphic novel form,) O'Barr never ceases to amaze. The anguish and pain that one man can go through to be one with his eternal and true love can be quite daunting. Also, any of the original novels written by Poppy Z. Brite, David Bischoff, and the rest in that series are well worth reading. Thanks for your time. --B--
Rating: Summary: The reflection of a life Review: This is by far one of the most amazing stories I have ever read. It was a story that in the end gave me a greater sense of respect for life and for death. In the words and the pictures that James O'Barr drew, there was the shadow of pain that he as the author had felt when this story had been born. The story of Eric Draven touched me in a very special way and I encourage everyone to take part in the experience of reading this book. It's more than just a comic, it's the reflection of a life."It can't rain all the time" -Eric Draven
