Summary: Want help falling asleep? They should've quit 3 books ago
Review: This book is laid out in a format ideal for childrens books. Huge margins and large print. After reading the past few books, I see why....they had to be able to make it look as if it were really a book inside of the covers, and not just a tract.
I was totally loving the Left Behind series. When I got to the 8th book ("The Mark")however, I was getting a little bored and felt that 'too much' was being stretched out. Then Book 9 (Desecration) came out and I continued to be a loyal fan and we purchaed it also. After waking myself up through most of the book, I was able to summarize it for my husband in about 20 minutes and save him the time of reading it. He didn't really miss anything. Now, to give it a benefit of a doubt, I have begun book 10 ("The Remnant"). Guess what! - you really don't have to read any more of the books.......the talent sort of piddled out. There really is not further enjoyment, surprises, or mystery coming from the characters or the story line. Plus, save yourself from having to learn any further absurd names. Save your money - if your really want to read it and continue with what story there may be, get it at the library. Or, if you insist on buying it, remember it will be great to press flowers in. The talent that started this series, has certainly, and sadly, been used up. It is time to move on to something new fella's. Sorry!

Summary: Even Less Filling than usual...
Review: Although I will admit to haveing read all of the series (I am hooked on the concept), I now feel the authors are are dancing on the edge of breaking the commandment 'Thou Shalt Not Steal'. This would have been a great 3 or 4 volume series. The good news is that I have found that it is possible to read the entire book in about 3 hours ... (find a comfy chair). Try it next rainy day.

Summary: a compelling read
Review: Once again the authors have produced the goods. The story picks up the fight against the forces of evil and leads you through a modern day exodus. I found the book such compelling reading that I literally couldn't put it down until I had finished reading it.

This really is a great series. It presents the book of revelation in a clear and easy to read format. I found myself looking through my bible to read the actual passage in revelation that the book had just covered.

I would throughly recommend this book, and the rest of the series, to anybody, whether they are a Christian or not.

Also recommended is The Price of Immortality by C.M Whitlock is a great read

Summary: Running out of good material
Review: Early the series, "Left Behind" referred to those who weren't taken in the Rapture. Now it refers to a spot on Leon Fortunato's anatomy. I think the authors are starting to run out of good material and should bring this series to a graceful conclusion as soon as possible.

Summary: The breaking of the pact
Review: Like the previous books of this series, the pace of this novel will keep you excited. I, like many other people I have talked to, finished this book in less than 24 hours. When you are ready to read this, make sure you have the time set aside to finish.

As the title tells you, the Antichrist will desecrate the temple in Jerusalem and break the pact with Israel. With that action, Operation Eagle helps believers escape the wrath of Potentate Carpathia. You will not put the book down as you read about the heroes working to escape.

With the cliffhanger, I am eagerly awaiting the next book of the series. I would recommend this book.

Summary: Enough, already!
Review: Can these guys milk it, or what? This series is longer than the tribulation, and far more trying! God, give me the strength to endure more of these books! What have I done to deserve this penance?

The bad characters and the bad writing are just laughable. It's all so shallow and predictable. Want some deep spiritual fiction? Read Dostoevsky. Grisham looks like Shakespeare compared to these guys. Save your money and quit enriching people like this who prey on the American Christian's prediliction for endtimes paranoia.

Summary: Awesome
Review: This series is so good. This book is jam packed full of action, and it's not as slow as the last few books. It is so good. I can't wait until the next one comes out! I recommend it to everyone.

Summary: Anxious for the next!
Review: I love these books...I will agree that the first one was kind of slow but the rest are great. I can't wait until I can read the next. It amazes me how all the people that have gave bad reviews as far back at the begining series have read this far to give it a bad review. STOP reading them, its as simple as that. Bet they continue to read the series. I know I'm hooked. I stay up as late as possible because I don't want to put these books down.
