Review: The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe is an adventure and mysterious book of four kids, and an unknown world beyond. Lucy, Edmund, Peter, and Susan get sent to live with a professor because of a war back in London. While the four explore the mysterious mansion and play games, Lucy finds a secret wardrobe with a country just beyond.
C.S. Lewis's story of, The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe is one of the greatest books and definitely one I loved to read!
Lucy was the first to go to the magical land beyond of snow, a place called Narnia. As soon as she finds her way out, tales are told to the others about all the different creatures and things inside of the wardrobe. But all they seem to think of her is that she is a crazy liar. But soon to find out Lucy wasn't lying at all, it was a magical place they saw for themselves. With an evil spell the White Witch made it always winter but never Christmas. Trouble begins when Edmund betrays the others (not knowing anything about her) and takes side with the Witch. Because of Edmund'Lucy, Peter, and Susan need to get Aslan (a lion) to change everything and defeat the White Witch himself to break the spell and get Edmund back with them.
This book's theme can let you learn that you should always think and know before you except upon others. Well at least that's what I learned.
I loved how C.S. Lewis made parts of the book where you thought one thing was going to happen, but then after you read on, you find out you were totally wrong. That was the best thing about this book!
I would let people of all ages read this adventures novel, no matter how old you are. It's a book that you wont be able to stop reading once you start! But what will happen to Edmund, and will Aslan make the Narnia change? Your going to have to read it to find out!

Summary: The book by which all others will be judged...
Review: I first read this book when I was 11-12. It wasn't the first, and it certainly wasn't the last, but it was the best. It just pulls you in, and you can't get out. Once you start, you will probably end up reading half of it in one sitting. From the first page, you are totaly envelloped in Narnia. You forget completely about the outside world. Once you read it, it becomes the book by which all others will be judged for the rest of your days. And trust me, its very hard to beat. I would reccomend it to ANYONE, whether they like fantasy or not, it is truly a study in good writing (the understatement of the 21st century). The religious undertones and the author's subtlty of sugestion leave the upmost room for interpretation. Getting others to read it will undoubtedly lead to endless discussions about the significance of Aslan an a god-like leader, or of the so obvious, yet hidden play between good and evil. Be warned. If you read this book, it will change your life.

Summary: A good for children
Review: I read this book in class time. This book felt to me specially. Because this book is my first experience that I read foreign language book.
I think this book is good for little children. Lucy, who is main character, is very strong girl. She go to strange world. alone. but she doesn¡¯t have anything to fear. If any other children are in like this situation, they will cry or find their parents. So children learn bravery.
Also, children learn curiosity. Because Narnia is new world, In imagination. Although main character and main story is same. Narnia is different from person to person. So children can make their Narnia. Probably It is more interesting and fun. If I read it when I was young. I wish to recommend this book to parents who has little children.
There is a many other useful thing for child. For example trust, friendship, bravery and so on.

Summary: a long and tiresome book
Review: I didn¡¯t like this book much because the story was boring and I don¡¯t like fantasy story. ¡°Fantasy¡± it is just made up by author¡¯s thinking and it doesn¡¯t give me any interest. It can¡¯t be happening in real world and also it is not even true story, I mean that¡¯s why people call ¡°fantasy¡± but it is just author¡¯s imagination. I can¡¯t agree with story because I¡¯ve never done before and I know that is not a true.
This book helped my English study but still I don¡¯t like story. I heard that this book (the lion the witch and the wardrobe) is the first original fantasy series in the world. I feel sorry for C.S Lewis (author) but I don¡¯t like this book. This book is not for my age and not my type. This book will appropriate to under 12 years of age. Actually I don¡¯t have any idea but one idea came out of my head, which is ¡°I think, I don¡¯t like this book¡±.

Review: When I firs read this book I didn't like it because is like a little boy's book. After the second chapter I started to get more into it, for the first time in my life I enjoy reading more than ever.
What the author does in this book is that he repeats some phrases many times, and that's why I thought it is a kids book. But this is the kind of books that repeats phrases so you can remember it like I'm doing now.
He describes everything really well, and clear so you can imagine it as he wants you to imagine it.This book is about 4 young English boys that are send to another place because of the war, they were send to the professor house. There they found a new imaginary world inside a wardrobe. Narnia is the name of this world, and there is a witch that control everything so it is always winter but never Christmas.
There is a lion called Aslan, he is coming to save Narnia. Aslan and the boys fight together to defeat this witch.

Review: I am a lover of books, and I think I know why. It is this book, the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and that other book, Charlotte's Web, that I read when I was too young to fight off the effects of a good read. And then I was hooked. Parents, if you want your kids to love reading, give them this book when they are between seven and ten. It will blow their mind and forever mark them as studious, brilliant, wise, noble, as are all the young kings and queens of Narnia. And don't forget to give them a dose of the spider, too, in Charlotte's Web

By C.S. Lewis When you read the title you will think it is full of battles and magic but there is a lot more to this great book than that. There is all kind of adventure in this book. There is persistence to stay a live.
Peter is a kid that is smart and does not really pick side when is brother and sister are fight. He thinks that Edmond is a brat. He becomes high king in Narnia because he is the oldest and the smartest of his two sisters and his brother.
Susan is the second oldest and is hi quean in Narnia. Susan and Peter are always together. She is every nice and sticks up for her sister.
Edmond is the third oldest and is a big brat always getting in to trouble. He is king of Narnia. He picks on Lucy all the time. He does not care about any one but him self tell he learns his lesson.
Lucy is the youngest and never tells lies. She is the low quean in Narnia. She is very bright. She goes and hid is a wardrobe but never finds the back and this is were everything get started.
The 4 kids are living with a professor in an old house. They have only been there for a night so they go wondering around the house to see what it looks like in every room. They come to a room with a wardrobe and Lucy walk in to the wardrobe. She kept walking to find the back but never find it. She starts to get cold and she walks out the other end in another world. There is snow on the ground and there are a lot of trees there. She keeps walking tell she see a light post and see a faun next to it. They meet and go to his house and have tea. The faun asks Lucy if she is a daughter of eve but she did not understand what he was saying. Then he asked if she was human and she said yes. Then he started to cry and Lucy asked why are you cry and he said that he Is suppose to turn her in to the white witch. Then he said if I take you back to the light post can you find your way back to the wardrobe and she said yes. He said that they had to leave now because if the witch finds he will be turned to stone.
This store continues and gets better as the book goes on. There are 7 books in the series and every one of them is a great book to read. They are full of adventure. I would say that this is one of the best books I have ever read.

Review: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is, of course, loved by millions as a classic, and it truly deserves its distinction. Rarely will any reader of any genre find a story so moving and entertaining and so enlightening. I can't recommend anything more highly than this little volume. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is the story of Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter who wander through an old wardrobe into the magical world of Narnia. What follows is their adventure as they team with a nation of talking animals and other magical creatures versus the evil powers in the kingdom. The novel climaxes with one extraordinary act of love which tears through the kingdom and changes everything and everyone after. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is such a successful novel. It does serve as a wonderfully powerful read. The book also enlightens the reader with its commentary Christian symbolism on the nature of love. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a classic, and I really think that it is just now coming into what may be its most popular period. The world is pleading for some type of meaning, and here, Lewis is willing to offer it.

By C.S Lewis The classic book from the chronicles of Narnia, "The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe", is a great fairy-tale story. The four children: Peter, Susan, Edmond, and Lucy, are playing hide-and-go seek on a rainy day. But Lucy the explorer goes into a quiet empty room, and finds a mysterious wardrobe. So she opens the wardrobe, and there are many heavy trench coats that are filled with dust. She creeps behind the coats and finds herself shivering, so she puts on one of the coats. She slowly turns around and see, snow, trees, and a trail leading to a large and rather weird looking pole-light. She begins to walk towards the light. She spots a very weird looking man, who is half-man, half-goat. So they begin to start talking, and he kind enough to invite her to his house. So they have a cup of tea while the faun tells Lucy where she is at. Lucy begins to get a bit confused from the whole thing. Then the faun shows Lucy the mean White witch's Dreadful castle, and explains that she is really bad. So Lucy goes back and tells her brother's and sister's about Narnia and they do not believe her so Peter goes along by himself into the wardrobe. Then who knows what else is in store for them. So Edmund goes through the journey in the wardrobe. But there is a problem the wardrobe door does not work. So Edmund gives Lucy some grief for it not working. So he waits for while and tries again, but this time it does happen to work. So he begins to walk through the trail, and then Edmund runs into the White witch, and she asks him if he is a human, and he says yes. So the witch told him that if she came and is her king when she is gone she would give him Turkish-delight for life. So of course he agrees to it, and takes him to her castle. In the meantime the other 3 come through and run into the beavers, very nice couple of people. So they take them into there warm household, and begin to talk. But after a while somehow they realize the witch's servant, "the wolves" are coming after them. So then they bundle up and evacuate the house. What will happen next? It looks like you better read the book, and read it quick, before it runs out of stock, who knows what will happen next.

Review: In C.S. Lewis's book The Lion , the Witch, and the Wardrobe; siblings Lucy, Edmund, Susan, and Peter start the story out by playing hide-and-go-seek in their Uncle Andrew's house.They are staying with their uncle because of the difficult times and war in England. The youngest child,Lucy decides to hide in a old magical wardrobe. This is no ordinary wardrobe. It takes Lucy to a the magical world of Narnia. She comes back noticing that no time has past and brings her brothers and sisters along with her to this other world. From here the adventure has just begun. Here they meet talking beasts,giants, and have to battle the evil White Witch and learn to find that one of their own family members betrays them. They do this all with the help of the protector of Narnia and loin named Aslan.
This book is a great adventure and is a real page turner. It goes beyond a fairy-tale with a much more deeper meaning. The symbolism is fantastic in this book. I really liked it and people of all ages can appreciate it.
