Summary: A True Masterpiece
Review: This book is as good as the Harry Potter series. I liked reading this book so much that I am reading the other books in the series, such as The Magicians Nephew. I would reccommend this to readers of all levels and ages. You do not have to read the previous Narnia books to read this one because all the books have different characters. I always hated reading until I read this book.

Summary: Perla's Review (4th Grade)
Review: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was the best book I have ever read. C.S. Lewis can use too many details at times, but still the book made a lot of sense. Some of the chapters of this book left me elated. The characters Edmund, Lucy, Peter and Susan were really cool. I especially liked Edmund because when he goes to Narnia he asks for Turkish Delight. I think this book is full of adventures. For example, Lucy enters a simple wardrobe and finds herself in the middle of Narnia, a whole other world. In this book there are also melancholy chapters, but go ahead and read this book. You have heard my opinions about this book, "It's awesome!"

Review: "The Lion the Withch and the Wardrobe" by C.S. Lewis is a very interesting book. I would say this book would be most enjoyed by a reader that has the ability to exspand the imagination. This is a wonderful book that really boggles the imagination of the reader. The different charaters are a real important part in this story because of the far out possibilities of who or what they really are. All the diversity is wonderful. This book is for readers of all different ages that like to use their imagination, or basicaly just suspend reality for a while. As you read this book you can laugh, cry, and even catch yourself being amazed through it all. I can say that i think this book is awesome. i have told alot of people to read it. I have even started reading the entire series of this book. so take our advice and read it to find out for yourself.

Summary: An 8th grader's point of view...
Review: This is an awesome book. It is about 4 kids who find their way into a magical land through a wardrobe in their grandfather's house. While there, they encounter all sorts of mythical animals like the centuar and others. There is an evil white witch who has kept it winter forever but no Christmas. Then, there is Aslan, the all powerful lion who protects the children. The four kids have wonderful adventures, and learn about themselves and their siblings.
I think that C.S. Lewis did an excellent job with this book. He made this story his own, not elaborating off anybody else's. He used imagery, symbolism, and personification to make the book interesting. The plot and story line is like none other I've read. I recommend it to everybody, all ages, because it doesn't matter how many times you have read this book every time you read it you get something deeper out of it.

Summary: The Fantastic World of Narnia!!
Review: My son's middle school is putting on this play at his school over the weekend. He plays Mr. Tumnus, the first character that Lucy meets when she enters Narnia. I haven't read the book, nor saw the play yet, but I am really looking forward to it. I'm happy to see that the book has an underlying Christian theme. It sounds great, and I will add another review after I see the play!!!

Summary: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
Review: Hi. ...I am here to talk about The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.

This is the beginning of the book to start you off. It is about Susan, Lucy, Peter and Edmund. They all have to move because of World War II to their grandpa's house. He is a professor. When they get there, they decide to look around and they come across a wardrobe. Lucy decides to go in, and when she reaches her arm through, she feels a pine tree. She goes through and enters Narnia. She meets Mr. Tumnus, a fawn. He brings her back to his house and cozies her up and she falls asleep. When she wakes up, Mr. Tumnus is crying because he was working for the bad white witch. That's all I will tell you about the beginning of the book.

You meet lots of other characters like Aslam, the lion. He is practically the main character and he almost dies. At the end there is a big war, but I can't tell you who wins. You'll have to read it for yourself. The book is so adventurous and exciting.

Now I am going to tell you how good this book is. I would grade this book a nine out of ten stars. Twelve out of twelve people I asked said it was an awesome book. Matt (my friend) says that the war that takes place at the end of the book was the best part. It is a fabulous book so read it and I guarantee you will like it. I would also recommend reading the first book called The Magician's Nephew because it goes along with the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.

So I told you a little about the book. So long and I hope you will read this book and if you do, I hope you enjoy it.

Summary: Deep magic for all ages.
Review: This is perhaps C.S. Lewis' most famous work. And rightly so, it is a memorable and orignal tale. Christian metaphors are generously applied in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, however they are sufficiently subtle and general enough so as not to offend readers of any background or creed. The story stresses themes of forgiveness, sacrifice and the struggle for freedom against evil. All this set in a fantasy world full of talking beasts and mythological creatures. The heros are 4 british children. If you've run out of Harry Potter books this is more than a substitute. Regardless you won't be dissapointed. For fans of Christian literature this is also a great book for you library. Lewis is very subtle but very powerful Christian writer. Great for kids and adults alike I give it my highest recomendation.

Do you have a knack for adventure? Talking animals? Well if so you should read
The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis.
Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy have had the most extraordinary adventure of their lives. It all started when they moved from London to a creepy old house. Lucy found a wardrobe full of old fur coats, as she walked the scenery changed from old coats to a field of snow and crystal coated trees.
Soon after Lucy found the secret world, Edmund who thought Lucy was lying found the amazing features of the new world, but the features he saw were opposites of what Lucy saw. After Edmund found the new world Peter, and Susan found out. Then all four of them got sucked into the mysterious new world. The new world that Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy discovered still had many secrets and surprises.
The genre of this book is fiction. I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone who still loves those old books about a fantasy world and the old characters like unicorns and centaurs. This book is an excellent read and I would on a scale from 1-10 give it a 10+, because of its exciting plot and the bravery that each character shows. This book won't let you put it down. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.
